I like gospel music, but I wonder, "Is gospel music wishful thinking how one thinks they should be, or is this the way one does live in Christ--the one doing the singing? I know the psalmists lived this way once they truly saw their sin, such as David. David wrote all his psalms after murdering and committing adultery." David was one cold dude: it took a specially sent prophet to awaken him, and then only when he had compassion on a stolen lamb! And he murdering a man to get his wife. Thus the power of the blindness of sin.
We, as Spirit-Filled, Born-Again Believers, have the Holy Spirit within us...convicting us of our sin, so that we may immediately confess & repent of it, restoring our relationship with The Father. We are no longer condemned, but set free in Him, through the power of His blood.
