    Hey, Cookie! Greetings from cold Estonia. Love your videos, you are good teacher, explain everything so thoroughly. Im currently wrapping my vehicle, and have difficulties with trunk, it VW Passat B5, sedan, maybe it's better to wrap it in two pieces, I've seen in videos they do such trunks in one piece, can you give any advice on how to wrap trunk. Peace!

    I'm wrapping my 2006 Ford Focus and notice of the many wraps sold on Ebay and Amazon many have logos in the film. Is it trendy to put a warp with logos on a car? The term for these films in ad copy seems to be "Decal Warp". For the best wrap experience-3M included- what films might a wrapper avoided for wrapping or customizing a car- an old one in my case. Thanks for the great tips. Mike

    Hi Chris. These are very enjoyable videos that give me confidence in attempting a DIY wrap of my vehicle. Regarding door panels, it looks like you use one, single sheet across the entire side of the vehicle to start. Do you ever drape wrap sheets vertically over individual doors to reduce thin edging around the door panels? Seems like draping horizontally creates very thin margins around edges. Logic tells me a 1/4 inch of wrap around edges is stronger than an 1/8 inch of edge wrap. Plus, I'd rather avoid a razor edge near visible, painted edges. As an amateur (despite artistic talent), I still fear the potential for trimming edges too thin or inadvertently scoring the paint with the razor. Thanks for any advice. Keep up the great videos.

    Hi cookie. I am doing my first wrap and i have a question for you, the wrap seems to go on bubble and crease free however, the day after wraping huge bubbles appearred on most panels where the doors and wings are shaped with grooves, how do i stop this from happening! ?
    The car is a bmw 318i e46 1999.

    Thank you for this, you are the most helpful vinyl person on youtube.
    2:45 so exactly where do I want the trim? Do I want it close to the door panel or further away?

    do you need to always remove the headlights when installing wrap? or can i still get a long lasting wrap without doing that?

    You do not use water with a film with so there are no bubbles
    I always try to use this method without water Laeken there are many bubbles caused me embarrassment with the customer
    In case of use of water there is a problem with other parties, the film does not stick well

    I've been applying cut vinyl to vehicles for about 3 years but have never done a wrap. Does heating the vinyl stretch OR shrink the vinyl?

    • @m0nkeyf1ngers31
      @m0nkeyf1ngers31 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if the vinyl has already been stretched it will cause it to shrink back. if you want to stretch the vinyl you apply heat to make it easier to stretch 😉
