In this video, I go over the key details about the Havoc MSTC 1756 duck boat powered by a GatorTail 40XD! I go over the aspects that I find important in which lead myself going with a HAVOC! I go over the maneuverability, speed, how it hands waves, and the layout! I have many plans with this boat! If you have suggestions, please leave them down below; also if you would like to see some action in the mud, swamp, marsh, etc. leave it down in the comments as well!
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THE BOAT!

Very Nice Mud Boat Set Up ! I’m Running A Mud Buddy 60HP On A 16’ Express Boat. Stay Safe, Brother
Appreciate it, that’s what up! Same to you!
I know three friends that have a set up's like yours down here in Louisiana and they love them boats more than there old ladys 🤠
Can vouch that these boats are very fun!
Nice setup I like that big gun box. I was impressed with the way it handled those boat wakes it looked like it was a really dry ride. I have a Pro Drive it's a totally flat bottom so it can get a little wet but it dose great in the mud and weeds.
Appreciate it, I bet having full power reverse comes in handy at times in the mud and weeds!
Nice dude. Been looking for a speed video on this hull
Appreciate it, glad I could help!
Just bought one of these. Live in Covington lmk if you wanna go out on em some time. Can also give ya a few tips for duck season
Will do!
If I’m not sure whether or not I’ll be in the mud much, would I be better off getting the DBST? Or should I get the MSTC just in case? Is there any negatives to getting the inverted ribs?
I’ve got a DBST, it floats just as shallow as the MSTC and handles a little better. Both hulls have the same 8° dead rise and solid center keel/ rib that sticks out. But the MSTC is a little better for true mud use… but if you’re just running shallow the DBST does great and it handles open water great. I like that my DBST doesn’t skid and slide AT ALL in hard cornering. I’m unsure about the MSTC in that aspect but it’s better handling than a true mud hull like a pro drive or go devil hull that is purely flat bottom with no ribs or keel and a 0° dead rise.
My 50hp outboard on a jack plate will take me into water where the hull will hang up (idling along) and run shallow enough on plane (4-6” of water) to where my skeg digs in and my motor kicks up on the kick plate

Hey,I just bought a 1756 MSTC Tuesday.I don’t have a trolling motor yet but plan on putting one on in the spring.Any way you have a picture of your box with the batteries and gas tank, not sure how all of this will fit. Thanks!
I’ve got a 1756 DBST. Can’t fit a second battery and the 6gal fuel tank in the center hatch in the back and still be able to get to the plug
How heavy is the hull? And have you got it stuck? If so, how easy was it to get unstuck? Thanks!
Unsure of the weight but I got it close to being stuck and it's like any other mud boat to get out haha!
Thanks for the reply!
Does your vibrate your hand to sleep?
my boat does after a long hall
I haven't had any issues!
Why do you like surface drives better than long tails? haven’t seen anyone really do a comparison or pros and cons of each
Never used a long tail but I do enjoy the surface drive!
Long tails can’t turn as sharp as a surface drive, but a long tail is easier to get going/ unstuck if you stop in soupy mud.
Not nearly fast enough for the money
Right? My 50hp outboard will hit 42+ with a light 1 man hunting load and still run 38 fully loaded. And I’m still bumping it up to 60hp. The outboard was also $2500 cheaper than a surface drive
