What a great truck ! Seems to really hawl ass! And the temps are still great so what is scary is you could even bump the pinion up more!! Lol wow you should bump the pinion up again just to see how crazy it would be!!
The Hobao Hyper 8SC is a great truck I bought a roller put a Hobbywing Max 8 2200kv system in it, I run it on 6s with a 13T pinion and its stupid fast and built like a tank.

looks like you need some ventilation on the body for better air flow when jumping. 👍👍
^ What he's saying. The wind might not do any good, but SCT's are notoriously bad jumpers (well, for big jumps at least) because the body wall act as a parachute.
Stupid question, but why such a temperature difference between the front and back of the motor?
How would you compare this to the Senton BLX?

Would you recommend Badlands, on my 2WD Slash running 2S Lipo, Castle SCT. Like the body, sell clears of this shape at all?
Depends on the terrain you run on. If on grass, you find yourself tipping over a lot, if on gravel or any type of loose dirt then you should be fine.

The body posts are attached to the bent rear shock tower, that might be pushing it forward a bit
Wow. It sounds so brittle and looks sort of cheap but I can hardly believe the way it digs in to accelerate and the beating it just keeps taking.
I had this truck since 2016. I bought lots of parts for it in case something breaks. I tried to break it. It won't break. Eight now I am sitting in front of it thinking to myself. Why did I buy all those parts? Why don't you just break so I don't feel like I just have those parts for nothing. Body is ugly though. Good thing you can use some proline monster trucks body.

Erik Leypoldt I never thought of going there is it good. I go to either umina bmx track and the skatepark with my Arrma kraton or at the end of my street the is a reserve and we build big jumps off tree stumps

You need to get 1/8 and 1/5 scale. hobao is a waste of time and nose heavy.Too many short course with little or no innovation now a Days.bring back monster trucks like thunder tiger, savage old kyosho and very very promising tekno mt410
