I’m 6’5” 250lbs, I love carrying my Colt .45 ,but I also carry my Colt Mustang .380. As I’ve told lady friends who’s boyfriends tell them .380’s are too wimpy, a .380 is MUCH better than slapping someone .
30 years law enforcement. I carried a lot of small hand guns from .32 acp to 38 special J frames as secondary and primary for deep cover. Rest assured, if you train with what you fight with they will put a threat down. 380s included.
TOMKITTENS are very accurate. I have had two. 1 is my backup EDC. A SIG officers 45 acp is what I a carry or a COLT commander rehashed by WILSON, Made back to a 70 series.
I owned a Tomcat 3032 for about a year. By far the worst gun I’ve ever owned. Failure to eject, failure to load, required special low power ammo and the wood grip had a sharp corner that bit into my hand. It was, however, a beautiful gun with unique features but in use it’s worthless so I sold it at a significant loss.
I have a Sig P-232. Been carrying it for 30 years give or take. They stopped making them a few years ago. I have literally carried it for 30 years. It still looks like the day I bought it. I have never had any type of malfunction ever. There are smaller guns now. Even in 9mm. Like the 365. But there is no better gun made, even today. When you have an old friend. One that has never failed you ever. Never let you down even once. You stick with them...
Can’t take these recommendations seriously if you have a .32cal Kel Tec rated #1. Of these I’d probably carry the Sig followed by the Glock. Reliability is paramount when selecting a self defence gun of any kind.
In my humble opinion the SIG 938 out to be No. 1. It is a sweet micro 9 with accuracy, comfort, and is drop dead gorgeous. My model is an older SAS with cherry wood grips. ove it!!
@@rsbreeze You have never researched war have you? Do you know how many bullets are used in Afghanistan battles? Or others as well? You sound like a FUDD. "I can easily headshot them everytime!!!! Just train!!!! revolvers are the best!!!!" Trust me when you're in a high adrenaline situation, instead of at the firing range, you'll understand.
I have several good pocket autos, and have carried them and others. The tiny Kahr CW380 and slightly larger PM40 being probably the former most carried. But of late, I find I prefer a S&W J-frame Airweight for my pocket carry. So much less to go wrong.
@@LogisticallyMisrepresented I traced all mine's issues to the way I was holding it. Held one-handed in a tight grip and it was fine. Whenever I ran a qual course for BUGs for my old dept and someone's micro .380 was jamming, I told them to shoot the whole course one-handed and it always worked. I hate that yours were so bad, though. Friday/Monday guns, maybe. I have three Kahr pistols (K-40 Covert, PM40, and the CW380) and the .40s have been great, the .380 has been 100 percent since I started the one-handed shooting thing.
Apparently a 38 revolver is not sexy enough. I swing a Taurus 856 on a regular basis. Not because it's cheap...it's because it's been rock solid reliable for years and with full house +P rounds. It clears lighting quick out cross draw, barely prints, and is a "No Brainer" response weapon under stress.
Never touched my other longer barreled pistols again after buying that small 42 Glock in .40 cal.Deadly accurate and white dotsights are off the chain efficient.
I have a Taurus #.32 back-up and I've been traveling with a Beretta Bob-Cat #.22LR Stinger for decades, in my shirt pocket... I've scared a lot of bums all over Brazil!
Had the full complement of Kel-Tec EDC pistols. P11, PF9, P3AT, P32. Never had a serious cycling problem w/any of them. The 3PAT was a bit of a hand beater, but that was the only issue. Depending on what I was doing or wearing I used them all. The P32 had issues with cycling HPs, so I just started using FMJ exclusively. When I started carrying I didn't have alot of money, so KT was my go to because of the cost. The only mods required were replacing the plastic guide rods with steel and a lighter pull trigger assembly on the P11. There are really good pistols mentioned here. Have shot most of them. Gotta admit I do like the Beretta Tomcat. Classy looking pistol.
Always wanted a Tomcat. I think they are pretty too. If you have to cycle FMJ. Look into ammo using "lehigh projectiles" I used to buy it under the Underwood brand. But I think they were bought out by someone. Can't remember who. But they also make custom 1911's. Look up ballistic tests. It is a solid machined bullet with flutes on it like a propeller. It makes a massive wound channel. Just like a hollow point. Without expanding. And they are barrier blind. You can shoot through a wall, or a car door. And they still perform as intended...
I am with you - while I have a bunch of pistols and revolvers from full size to snubby/compact, the P32 and P3AT are what I carry 99.9% of the time. Where I am it's very hot, and the way I dress, the P32 just disappears. I started with a pre KT Grendel .380 (still have it), 10+1 .380 acp in a fixed mag. Then I added a PF9, P11, P40, 2 P32's, and now a P3AT. While I love them all, the P32/P3AT is what I drop in my pocket when I go out. The good thing about KT is all the pistols function exactly the same...
The 380 M&P bodyguard can be carried all day and night, never know you have it. Very safe gun. Buy the no safety model, put your thumb over the hammer when holstering.. Recommend the "We the People IWB" or the "Fobus paddle holster owb" my favorite.
yeah. i wouldn't argue with you if you were pointing one at me but in a bar fight? other guy has a lock knife. do you pull that silly little thing or go crocodile dundee?
They are pretty much a copy of the PPK/S anyway, so it's a great gun and one I recommend to those on a budget. That is at least until I bought the LCP Max, which is only $299 list.
My advice, get your big combat pistol you intend to carry and a pocket pistol the same day, and then any day when you don’t feel like carrying that big iron on your hip, grab the pocket pistol, but be warned, you’ll never carry that 1911.
I carry a snub nose S&W 38 featherlight hammerless every day. You’d never know it’s on me in a million years. If I can’t hit and eliminate the threat in 5 shots maybe I should rethink my life!
LOL not for carry in violent mobs of over 5 I suppose? LOL Secret is carrying a gun is pain in the butt. But only gun that can help you in an unexpected situation is the one you carry. Good choice in my book. And I hope you never have to use it. JMHO
I dare say (missing from this list) would be the Sig P365X with P365 grip (non-X, the non-X grip is shorter) module. So basically $599 + $49 (for grip module) for an Sig striker fire pocket pistol. It’s pretty nearly as small as the P938 which is a pocket pistol, except it takes 10 rounds, AND can accept red-dot optics. It’s the smallest striker I can pocket carry that takes a red dot. NOTE: P365X is pretty small, but can be a little smaller if you swap out the gripmodule with a non-X. The issue with buying a non-X 365, is it may not accept a red-dot. The X, from all I’ve seen, does. There is a Tacops version of the X with manual safety too.
I’m confused by your comment, did you mean XL? The p365X is just an XL but with the shorter barrel and slide of the regular p365. So swapping the grip of the p365x would just leave you with a regular p365, why not just buy it that way?
@@oblivionpro69 The P365X vs P365 has 2 differences I can see. At least in my dealer: A) grip module size, B) red dot optic cut. The P365, does not always have the red-dot cut on the slide. There is also a cosmetic difference, there is an “X” on marking on the slide. So, if you want the smallest micro-pocket-size striker pistol that can install a red-dot, P365X + swap out the grip with P365 grip. The barrel length is the same, except for the red-dot cut.
Gun FACTS! 1. Every caliber has killed. 2. Every modern handgun is more accurate than the person holding it. 3. Revolvers are more reliable than automatics. 4. There is no perfect caliber. People have survived all, from the smallest to the biggest magnum. 5. The best gun for you is the one that feels best. 6. You don't practice, you don't win. Those are FACTS, not opinions.
Hi, excellent comment - I would add a no 7, once you realized the first six Facts, consider that the most important fact left is "bullet placement" (which brings you back to facts no 5 and 6) - I fought three wars, you are right, these are facts. Ciao, L (Veteran).

Peace be with you my Friend and may God bless America, Semper Fi! Ciao, L
When they first discontinued it, the company was answering inquiries as if its [presumably superior] replacement in the KelTec line was going to be right around the corner. Something must have gone wrong with the replacement or schedule, because it still hasn't materialized, and they don't seem to hint at it any more. A shame, since it seems there was still a good bit of interest [if the market segment had proven itself unprofitable, they'd never have hinted at a forthcoming replacement].
I believe in capacity more than I believe in caliber. I am not in LE, and if the situation ever arises, I don't expect to perform like I was one. And so I have my Bersa Thunder Plus for everyday. For a bit of extra thickness I have 15+1 of .380 acp. This makes me comfortable.
@@BiffBuffchest I like mine. The DA is smooth through its travel, and the SA is crisp like I expect. Not silky though. My dad did his own trigger work, but he's gone now, or I would have had him trick it out.
I currently rock a Sig P365 XL for my EDC… Performs flawlessly, on this list when I can’t carry that I have the Ruger, LCP, Max, fun little shooter… Definitely would recommend …can be temperamental with certain types of ammunition as most guns in the size category.
I have both the Sig P238 and the Berretta Tomcat. I cant get the Tomcat to cycle more than 1 round at a time. So my carry is the Sig that runs flawlessly and is 380acp instead of the Tomcats 32acp!

I have one, but it definitely does not belong in the “pocket pistol” category….literally the same size and weight as my Shield Plus. Unloaded, of course.
Love my little S&W bodyguard .380 It's .75" thick and disappears in your pocket The laser sight is worthless (just a sales gimmick) but what target would you like to shoot using 9mm shorts anyway if it's more than five feet away? Just right for EDC and self defense.
64 year old woman here. I shot the S&W Bodyguard .380 about 10 years ago. It literally HURT to fire the weapon. As a carry weapon for a female, it gets a thumbs down from me.
Been pocket carrying the bodyguard in a DeSantis holster for years and love it! Added a magguts +1, (7+1), Hogue grip sleeve, pinky extension, painted the front sight white. I'll run 250-300 rounds at the range and could just keep going. I find it so easy to shoot. Bought a Kahr cm9 and hated it. Failures to eject/load, trigger housing too small, ripped up my trigger finger and thumb. Also is a real pain to take down. When I want to pocket a 9mm, I have an OG shield with magguts +2 in the 7 round mag. Just need to wear shorts or pants with deep pockets. LA Gear makes the "operator" cargo shorts and pants that are perfect. Didn't plan on becoming an S & W fanboy, just worked out that way. I've got an M and P sport 2 ar-15. All of my S&W firearms are consistently reliable, easy to take down for cleaning and simple to reassemble. The one time I interacted with their customer support was excellent as well. I put some scratches on the barrel of my sport 2 on the bench at the range. They had me send it in and they refinished the barrel, no charge, had the rifle back in less than 2 weeks.
Well they have 3 of my favorites on here that I have, the latest being the LCP Max. I bought the .32 Tomcat when it first came out and that supplemented my Walther PPK/S at the time. Those are the 3 I carried with me during my travels all across country, all very reliable, and sized to fit in anything I wear. I haven't had any problems with any of them, no misfires, no jams etc. Great all around self defense weapons.
From your list I have to say, none of the above. I've owned an LCP and a Sig 238 along with other pocket pistols. My choice is the slightly larger Sig 938. It's almost the same size as the 238 but packs the more potent 9mm round.
Owned both p938 and p238. The 9mm is not suited for such a small frame lightweight pistol. 9 mm does not give you much more advantage in such a short barrel compared to the 380 using personal defense ammo. Plus the p938 is not pleasent to shoot.
@@SunTzu119 strongly disagree. I've carried SIG P938 since their introduction and P238 before that. The 9mm P938 is not overbearing compared to the .380 P238. Both designs benefit from the Browning locked breech action compared to other pistols their size having straight blowback recoil, which in .380 is much worse than locked breech 9mm. SIG P238/P938 were developed initially from Colt with Govt, Mustang, Pony, and Pocket Nine developed it from licensed Star D and S series in Spain. This design (outside of Browning's locked breech design in general) has been around since 1922 and was successful enough to reincarnate the Colt Mustang in 2011 that was previously discontinued in 1999.
I had a Kahr CW380, but the frame was just too thin to grasp with my extra large hands. For the last 3 years I’ve been carrying the Tomcat. It fits my hand perfectly, points naturally and is extremely reliable (unlike my Kahr).
I owned a Beretta Tomcat and the tip up barrel mechanism broke after I had put around 130 rounds thru it at the range. Returned it to the store I bought it from.
The thumbnail image shows a beautiful classic design - what looks like a mini-1911, manual thumb safety and all. That manual safety is perfect - if your last name is Longmire, lol!
Sadly, the thumbnail looks to be AI generated. There are several details inconsistent with a functional firearm. Such as the completely recessed slide stop.
I want the Tomcat - I've had one before, several times, but I really like it's weight and size.. Also, the pop-up saves my arthritic left hand from trying to rack the thing with it's strong spring. Great gun, ideal for storing near the front door or slipping into my hip pocket when answering the "somebody you don't know is at the front door" scenario. I already have the Sig you mentioned, with a sneaky pete holster that looks like something for my cell phone, and just because I'm a Ruger man, I'd like the new-ish Max LCP. Great video.
Gotta say, comphrehensive/honest collection/description! Gud N4 comparision! I wudda liked 4 Ruger .22 LCP Lite-rack be included. 4 2 reasons. .22 HIGHLY UNDERRATED as defensive use/ personal opinion of .380( I carry box of rocks in car for my friends searching for good .380!!!) I personally carried .22 pocket-rocket for 50yrs. I HAVE BEEN IN ONE LIVE SELF-DEFENSE situation, and .22 worked( @ that time)(one-on-one) Nowadays, with threat potential increase(3,4,5,6- on one potential) coupled w/ pocket-size 9mm, I have that for CC/ daily carry. TY! 4Vid!!
thats what id always wanted, a single-stack glock, but the Smith and Wesson Equalizer just might be the perfect carry gun, no glock-leg risk which ive seen even in highly trained professionals, internal hammer fire design, grip safety, optional 1911-style thumb safeties which are redundant to me but great for training others, 10, 13, and 15 round magazine, non performance center $400, performance center (which is what i go for) $500-ish. or a SIG P229 and HK P30 in v1 LEM /w Grayguns SRT trigger mod and flat metal trigger installed. I personally carry a Walther PPK/S .22 or HK P30LS 9mm, im so used t o the M9, HK 45c, MK 23, SIG P226 (which i fucking love, to me its damn-near perfect), still really wanna try a CZ 75B style and FN but....anyway the 229 and P30 are about as great as it gets and on-paper the Equalizer is perfect. Single stack width but can hold up to 15 rounds? yeah....fucking epic, also red-dot optics ready. Ported barrel, flare mag well if you want, i mean....idk what there isn't to love I have nothing against Glocks, i have something against people /w Glocks who don't train worth a fuck. So I hope you're not in that crowd! If you can't train like you'd like, get a Girsan Beretta cheetah Clone, Smith EZ Shield, Bersa thunder combat plus, 16 rounds in the package that is slightly bigger than my PPK/S is a hell of a thing, plus the Da/SA on it is nearly as good as the SIG P22-series pistols side note: in .45, in spite being a 1911/2011 guy, the P220 Carry is the gun i regret selling the most next to a grayguns modded P2000 v1 .40/.357 sig.
Personally I think this list of "top nine" is limited and not necessarily the best. Taurus was completely overlooked, yet they make fully functional pocket .380s that sell much less than these listed. The same goes for the Diamondback DB-9, mine carries 24/7 and has shot hundreds of rounds for me at 100% reliable.
Preachhhhh. I actually bought that same .380 from Taurus that you’re mentioning, for my mother. Sights are trash. But five or six to the boiler room at 10-15 feet will make ANYONE make roll call in the upper room lol. I loved my G2 millennium as well.
I think the reason on the Taurus and the purpose of the list was dependability. I first had the Taurus and then the SnW Bodyguard and the first notice I picked up was jams/misfires. None with the SnW, at least one misfire every other shoot. That ONE could be the difference between Live and Non Live.
@@PistolPackingPilot idk man, both of those you listed are overwhelming considered inferior by most reviewers, but I have shot those personally. Also, Id never, ever buy any gun with .32 for self-defense thats on that Tomcat.
People have to remember that most situations require the best “get off me” gun that you can easily get to during a confrontation. Pocket pistols are perfect because you don’t have to change your wardrobe to carry them and you can be comfortable which is crucial
I have the LCP MAX ... really like the capacity but mine is ammo specific. Cheap range loads often 'light-strike' or fail to eject etc. Disappointed in that for practice. Makes me feel 'unsure' of this pistol. My favorite pocket carry tho is my P365 SAS ... which is perfect for it's intended purpose.
I also have one. I'm surprised how accurate is out even out to about 12 yards. The problem for me is the length and limited room inside the trigger guard make it hard for me to quickly acquire the trigger. I would say my hands are only on the larger side of medium, still just a bit too big.
I have been carrying the Sig P238 big brother for years…..”The Sig P938 Emperor Scorpion with a threaded barrel. This pistol is snappy but a lot of fun to shoot and easy to conceal. This is my EDC in the summer, in the winter, it’s my M9 Beretta.
I like carrying my Smith Air weight revolver 38 special , even though I know there are plenty of better semi auto choices , I feel safer with the revolver knowing it will function every time, I own a lot of handguns semi auto and revolvers, the semi's will shoot lots of times without fail but maybe one time out of 500 will jam or fail to eject, I never had a revolver fail ,But I always think even though the chance of a semi auto failing to fire is probably remote in the extreme, I mean the police and military use them and reliability doesn't seem to be a issue and my fear is unfounded but then I think I know how my luck is ! When I take a vacation from work it will rain every day or be cold outside, when my vacation is over the sky will clear and its 70 degrees outside, When I get some money in my hand, some type of unforeseen expense comes up to wipe it out and probably the one time in my life when I would have to defend myself with a handgun and it was a semi auto I'm sure it would fail also the one time I needed it to work
I kept a s&w .357 revolver for years. Took it to the range several months ago for my son to practice with. The revolver didn't fail, but the Cor-Bon ammo did. Squib round stuck in the barrel rendering the revolver useless until after a trip to the gunsmith. Luckily my son didn't try to fire after the squib was lodged. Even though 99.999% of the time a revolver is a dependable choice, 💩 can still happen. Be safe!
Better is subjective, sure there are a lot of options that hold more rounds than a revolver, but a revolver works every time. I've had failures with every brand of semi-auto, yes even the high end ones, my Nighthawk 1911 recently failed at a range trip.(ammo related FTF) Never had a single failure with S&W or Ruger Revolvers.
great gun, expensive, but great, i carry wa Walther PPK/S or HK P30LS which....to be real, far superior to either guns mentioned on the former-side of this short convo :P side note HK P30 in a V1 LEM /w grayguns = best carry option maybe next to a Smith n Wess equalizer with a Ruger LCP .22 Magnum as backup, just being real. The options y ou got there are fantastic. But it ain't the gun (as long as it functions well) it's the person behind it. Guns kill people, because people use guns, they don't do it by themselves, it's a symbiotic relationship. Again, juist being real. Speaking from a fuck-ton of lived experience from the war. also: EDC? Not really needed for the vast majority of people. truly not.
Sig 238 or 938 are the finest single stack micros you can get. I personally carry a 938 and a fantastic Colt Mustang XSP in 380. Back up. All above are pricey. The PPK S is absolutely one of the greatest pocket carry pistols ever made. The trigger isn’t challenging at all. It’s more accurate than pcc’s and I’ve seen these set groups @ 6” at 75 yards . No joking. The Glock 42 isn’t that great. If you have normal man hands you’ll find it too small with a finger and a half hanging off the grip. The Tomcat in 22 or 32 is pretty damned good as well. Here in Florida and NC my micros aren’t necessary since everyone Carry’s in the open and or IWB which accommodates Subs, Mids and Full size firearms just as easy. No need for concealing them. The CSx is far better than the Body guard and has more stopping power using 9mm instead but .380 will drop any would be attacker either way. I own only one Keltec and it’s the only one I will own by them. They are a strange unreliable gun maker. Strange line of quirky firearms. Honorable mentions, Ruger lcp max but again tiny square grip isn’t for everyone. Walther CCP is amazing and easy to shoot. Springfield armory 911 has had its issues but since proves it’s a good micro 1911.
What gun is that in this video’s thumbnail photograph? Unless I’m wrong, it does not seem to be one of the guns featured in the video as crazy as that sounds.
I carry the Sig P238 SAS you listed as #4 and it’s a nice little pistol although it’s a bit heavy for its size and capacity in my view. I also sometimes pocket carry the P938 Legion 9mm which works well in most cases but it’s even heavier than the P238 as you can imagine. I recently looked at the CSX and thought it was an interesting and impressive little pistol …much lighter and a decent capacity 9mm. Not sure how it shoots though.
Weight weight weight!!! The major problem with conceal carrying a pocket blasta is how heavy most of those pistols in the video are. Do not believe me? Carry it in your pocket, put it in a hoodie and carry it all day.
That's about all they got for them. They have a vibe to them but what's the average Tigger pull on a DA Revolver? 9-12 pounds? If you have really strong hands/ practice alot they definitely aren't to be messed with but for the average person I feel they are too difficult especially for women and people with arthritis
I say skip .32 and .380 caliber pistol because they have no use beyond EDC defense, I say it's better to get either a 22lr or 9mm pocket pistol because these two caliber ammo can be used beyond self-defense reasons such as hunting, ballistics from 22lr is similar to .32/.380 and 9mm ballistics is better than the former 3 calibers, there are more variety in grain and bullet types between 22lr and 9mm, and the 22lr/9mm are easily available for purchase or trade in most countries. My current EDC is either the Ruger LCP II 22lr or Glock 19 depending on season and what I wear.
Small, ok. Weight, not as important (to me). The ported AMT Back-Up .45ACP with sandpaper grips (u gotta hold it) is my Guardian Angel. Sights on a micro is a useless overrated feature. If weight is an issue for u, and the micro is too small for u, the new Kel-Tec P-17 with high velocity fragmentating 22LR is the new King.
I own every one of these and more. Do not carry a single shot pistol...beretta tomcat and keltec. 32 is fine but not single shot. And you left the 3 best off.... S&W CSX (my backup edc) Springfield hellcat micro Sig p365 (not a fan but people with small hands love it) If you have big handsall of these and the video list, every one of them fit except the 365, don't know why.

I have several good pocket autos, and have carried them and others. The tiny Kahr CW380 and slightly larger PM40 being probably the former most carried. But of late, I find I prefer a S&W J-frame Airweight for my pocket carry. So much less to go wrong.

Total jamming junk that the vendor took back.
Better double action than any double action auto I ever owned. And that first shot and accuracy do count when SHTF. JMHO

"the best one is the one you have with you"😁
Only pistol I regret selling is a PPK/S. I do like my LCP Max I carry now. Best concealed carry pistol is the one you actually carry.
I have a Taurus #.32 back-up and I've been traveling with a Beretta Bob-Cat #.22LR Stinger for decades, in my shirt pocket... I've scared a lot of bums all over Brazil!
I have the basic 6+1 Ruger LCP .380. It's reliable (fmj and hollow points) and accurate (three-inch circles) at 30 feet.
same, thinking about getting an LCP 2, but don't really have a reason to
why not use a max? it has 12 ammo cap
LCP with hogue grips edc waiting for my recluse holster.

I'm surprised the Bersa Thunder 380 not in this line up 🤔
It's not a pocket pistol. I think it's considered a compact gun. I have one and it's great.
They are pretty much a copy of the PPK/S anyway, so it's a great gun and one I recommend to those on a budget. That is at least until I bought the LCP Max, which is only $299 list.
380 is a Shorty 9 mm. I have a Colt pony pocket lite with the hammer. Love it. Got it the year they discontinued the hammer.
You had a couple of fairly big guns in that group- yet no Sig P-365. So- you left out the best one!
I've never heard of a perp saying, "HAHA! You shot me with a .380! That's all you got?" More like, "Oh no. I've been shot."
My advice, get your big combat pistol you intend to carry and a pocket pistol the same day, and then any day when you don’t feel like carrying that big iron on your hip, grab the pocket pistol, but be warned, you’ll never carry that 1911.

Carry well and practice often
Totally AGREE 👍‼️
My P938 SAS takes a red dot optic in lieu for the rear sight with easily found adapter plates.

Gun FACTS!
1. Every caliber has killed.
2. Every modern handgun is more accurate than the person holding it.

The P3AT from Kel-Tec is still my favorite EDC gun during shorts season. Sadly, they don't make them anymore.
I would say the same for the PF-9.
Because Ruger stole the design.
I have been carrying a little mini seacamp for twenty five years and just love that gun very reliable, very accurate and extremely small

My preferred pocket pistol is still the Seecamp LWS 380, it literally disappears in the pocket with a Del Fatti pocket holster.
I agree, and it’s American hand made.
I love S&W moving to Tennessee.
I love it too. Easy to carry and the best is the laser when in a pinch plus a deterrent.
TOTALLY agree 👍‼️ with you're CHOICE, of the 9 MM PARABELLUM.
100% agree. SIG P938 is the best pocket pistol available.
Not a pocket pistol but I sometimes carry my Ruger SR22 with CCI Stingers. Never once felt at a disadvantage.
That's me ....!

The Berreta Tomcat is the best for simplifying a handgun for a woman. I bought one for my Mom, and after she passed, I sold it, and regret that.
Taurus is overlooked many times in my opinion. I’ve had nothing but success with Taurus.
Preachhhhh. I actually bought that same .380 from Taurus that you’re mentioning, for my mother. Sights are trash. But five or six to the boiler room at 10-15 feet will make ANYONE make roll call in the upper room lol. I loved my G2 millennium as well.
I agree! My wife carries the LCP Max, but I daily the DB9 👍🏽
I think the reason on the Taurus and the purpose of the list was dependability. I first had the Taurus and then the SnW Bodyguard and the first notice I picked up was jams/misfires. None with the SnW, at least one misfire every other shoot. That ONE could be the difference between Live and Non Live.

When I take a vacation from work it will rain every day or be cold outside, when my vacation is over the sky will clear and its 70 degrees outside, When I get some money in my hand, some type of unforeseen expense comes up to wipe it out and probably the one time in my life when I would have to defend myself with a handgun and it was a semi auto I'm sure it would fail also the one time I needed it to work
I'm carrying my S&W Airweight in my Uncle Mike's pocket holster (#4) at the moment. Never failed to go boom, that's for sure.
I've had failures with every brand of semi-auto, yes even the high end ones, my Nighthawk 1911 recently failed at a range trip.(ammo related FTF)
Never had a single failure with S&W or Ruger Revolvers.

side note HK P30 in a V1 LEM /w grayguns = best carry option maybe next to a Smith n Wess equalizer with a Ruger LCP .22 Magnum as backup, just being real.

The sig P365 micro compact would be my choice over pretty much all of these. Its about the same size as all these and holds even more rounds.
Its not nearly the same size. P365 is quite a bit larger than most of these.
Wheres the stubnose 38? Revolvers are more reliable than automatics.
That's about all they got for them. They have a vibe to them but what's the average Tigger pull on a DA Revolver? 9-12 pounds? If you have really strong hands/ practice alot they definitely aren't to be messed with but for the average person I feel they are too difficult especially for women and people with arthritis
Read the title. Best pocket pistol not a best pocket revolver.
Thats debatable but then again true,
Im so confused now
Picked up the Ruger LCP MAX. 12+1 with Hornady HP makes it a viable self defense gun
I own a PPK and a S&W 38 revolver. I carry the 38 because the PPK has a bad habit of jamming
Well, you got it right w the LCP MAX, the lightest and highest capacity 380 in all you highlighted …it is the #1 380 I sell, I buy then 6 at a time.
An OK gun is ALWAYS better than a sharp stick and heavy rock. 😅😅
I have the Ruger LCP2. It's reliable, and fits in my pocket without printing. Best pistol in the summer with shorts.
I own every one of these and more.
Do not carry a single shot pistol...beretta tomcat and keltec.
32 is fine but not single shot.
And you left the 3 best off....
S&W CSX (my backup edc)
Springfield hellcat micro
Sig p365 (not a fan but people with small hands love it)
If you have big handsall of these and the video list, every one of them fit except the 365, don't know why.
The Tomcat is SA/DA. .32 acp is fine at close quarters. It's not as weak as people think.
You forgot the Baretta Cheeta 380
Ppks suck.. i had an older one in 32. And a newer smith and wesson ppks in 380. These guns look cool but are 50 years out of date.
I wouldn't want to get shot with a 380acp...I can tell you that unreservedly.
dont sleep on the sleep accurate and reliable bersa thunder
None of these are budget friendly. So you better have deep pockets.
new externally fluted .380 cartridges are extremely effective.
Bodyguard is my EDC for deep concealment highly recommend
