- Sharing my recent overnight barra fishing & camping @ the Barrage Stand Ah Poh prawn pond Kg Jelutong and an interesting encounter with net casters, this triggered my thoughts about fishing in Pulau Ubin over the past 30 years.
Always heard friends mention about conflicts between anglers and net casters, fighting for their respective fishing methods and personal interests @ the fishing spots. For my thinking, this's mainly because they take fish too seriously and completely unaware that, there're other more wonderful things out there in the wild fishing and overnight camping activities...
👍👍👍
May the spirit of the eagle be will you, happy barra fishing always...

Sir you have always been a inspiration to ubin Barra fishing. And I totally agree with you with regards to chain net fishing. Great content and knowledge sharing sir. Love your channel as always. Waiting up for your next video. ❤
Last 2 month Ubin catch is very low. Sometimes cannot get anything
Always thought that fishing would be better if the weather was hot. A senior Ubin villager told me that fishing results on the northern shore are now better than the southern shore. If @ ponds, the ecosystems could have already been destroyed. Many anglers don’t know that many indian foreign workers chain net fishing on ponds every day after work for years.
👍👍👍
May the spirit of the eagle be with you. Happy barra fishing always...
