I'm all for sticking up for your team mates but I am sick of this in present day NHL. A clean hit prompts a line brawl? you can't hit anyone today without it stopping play . . hits like this are legal and an integral part of the game. I can't stand when guys fight after hits like this. The whole point of the hit is to separate the player from the puck and he did just that. How would it be if every football player brawled after a every hit? It would be the same thing.
