I listened to your podcast of comparing ourselves to a former version of ourselves, and cried/nodded my head through most of it. I workout a couple of times at home, because I'm quarantined by myself, but it's not the same as my active lifestyle and commuting three hours a day to SF for my job. Everything is home, and my body doesn't look/feel the way it did or even four years ago when I was too small for my body type and it's just unrealistic what I need to do to weigh a 106. It's very hard to break the happy of comparing yourself to a former version or to other women, but I'm happy that you are where you want to be. I hope I can be happier in my own skin one day. Hey Gretchen, just wanted to say I love your videos and you of course! When you were talking about you not knowing which pearls were your nice ones or cheap ones here is a little hack. If you grab the pearl and scratch it up against your teeth if it feels chalky then that means it’s real but if it glides and it’s slippery it means the pearl is fake! Just a little note to always remember! Also, i have the same David Yurman ring and it always gets super dirty so if you get Dawn dish soap and a toothbrush and just clean it gently it will look brand new. It saves so much time getting it professionally cleaned, trust me LOL.☺️ hope this helped!

Or you can take it to your nearest Tiffany store and they can clean it. It’s definitely not ruined that’s just what happens when their silver jewelry isn’t worn for awhile. Also you can store it in the bag and have the pendent one slot of the bag and then the chain on the other which will help decrease tarnishing!

Great collection! About your Tif necklace - you know that you just clean your silver jewerly and it is normal. It just oxydizes if as time goes by and you clean it.
you have to get the Tiffany & Co. silver cleaner at the store. I got it and cleaned my Tiffany necklace because I have that same necklace it made it brand new again. Silver jewelry tarnishes over anything
all you have to do is buy some silver polish! i bought it from amazon, and then you just polish the piece and it's like new! also yes i remember being a freshman in high school watching ur vids 🥺
my tiffany got a little tarnished, warm water and fairy liquid pop it into soak, also toothpaste and a scrub, hopefully it wont scratch but it helped me x
Tarnished silver can be easily polished and brought back to it’s original luster. Just google it and get some silver cleaner and a polishing cloth. Super easy.
You could take any Tiffany jewelry piece to a Tiffany store and they will totally clean it for you for just a small charge. You could also buy one of their polishing cloths (They are 15$ each, I believe) and clean the necklace by yourself. I have the exact same Tiffany necklace and I do so every now and then. BTW, if you store them individually in a jewelry plastic bag that you could buy off of Amazon (they basically look like very tiny Ziplocs), you can prevent them from tarnishing for such a long time.
You can clean silver with any white tooth paste and a used toothbrush it really works! I'll suggest try it on your necklace but be gentle with the toothbrush so you don't scratch it.
