All you have to do is start with one piece at a time. Find something you really like & are scared to wear & pair it with things that make you comfortable at first, & eventually you can do this with 2 things & then 3 things & then after a while you won’t be scared anymore 😁❤️

The chunkier the heel the better because then they’re practically painless & I can wear them comfortably and confidently all day! (Nine West has really great comfy chunky heels! I always get lucky finding those at Goodwill for some reason lol) Heels, boots, whatever adds a couple inches because I feel like it makes me look slimmer which is a (totally unreasonable, I know) insecurity of mine. There are hacks for everything in life Lol But best to have fun with it instead of letting it hurt you! Hope this helps! 😁❤️

This is just a basic circle skirt in plaid fabric. It doesn't even have pleats. If you wanted to make one yourself, it'd be the perfect beginners project.

Yesterday, I wore a fitted black, v-neck, elbow-length (the sleeves, to be clear) shirt of a kind of dressy, elastic material with a black and white plaid fitted skirt with black lace detail at the bottom, black sheer pantyhose (definitely inspired by you) and black kitten heels. My coat was a thrifted forever 21 double breasted with detailed silver shank buttons. I am so glad that I found your channel because I really honed in to my personal style. It can only really be described as you+Blair Waldorf. I love pearls and blouses, but I also love mini skirts. My jewelry is a lot more subtle than anything they wore in the late 2000s. You really gave my look a new modern sophistication, thanks.
I'm the type of girl who can't handle the cold, so what I do when wearing shorts or skirts in autumn is wear my nude thermo fleece leggings and put tights on over that. :)
These outfits are so cute, I will definitely recreate a lot of them! I need to get myself a plaid skirt 👀 As a little piece of advice to stay extra warm with skirts, if you don't want to swap out your sheer pantyhose for those thicker tights, you could get a pair of "volleyball shorts" but made from the same material as regular leggings. They're super short, so they won't be visible, but they still keep the cold from creeping up under your skirt. I get UTIs very often so it's important for me to keep my butt warm and those shorts really do make a difference.
she had a trick in another video to wear tan/skin-color fleece leggings with pantyhose over them, so you're warm with a skirt, but it looks like you're just wearing pantyhose. i thought that was pretty clever lol :)
