You know what my theory is, my sister...I honestly believe that this flood may have taken place somewhere in the Mediterranean, and then he finally landed somewhere in Turkey. Because, if you research the matter, there are MANY small cities and villages that have been found deep under the Mediterranean sea...So, its just my own personal theory that this could've been the region affected by the flood. Also, there seems to have been found a very large ship in a mountain range in Turkey/Syria...Only God Himself knows the truth of the matter, but in my opinion this ship could be an excellent candidate to be the ship of Nuh (AS). And God knows best.

There were 124,000 prophets sent by Allah (SWT) to every nation in the world and out of the 124,000 only 315 are messengers, only 25 have been mentioned (26 if you count Uzair and 27 if you also count in Shayth but I don’t believe those are prophets just people who kept the message alive). And only 5 out of the 25 are arch prophets.

Rasool is a specific group of prophets which brings a new message and jurisprudence . Ulul Azem are 5 Messengers as mentioned we believe are pivotal , and Prophet Mohammed is the favored of them .

Details like that are not mentionned generally in ahadith (narrations) and even if they are, they are weak and not trustworthy narrations. So some people take from what we call "israeliat" or biblical stories in order to fill gaps. Their view is that, as long as it doesnt contradict narrations in islam they can take it. But many think that we shouldnt take any of those details as long as we dont have a proof that they are true. So I always take those details with a pinch of salt, be wary is my advice

I believe there's a bit of a difference of opinion on the matter, but what the majority of the ppl mean when they say "world" is referring to the "known world" at the time, which was not very much at the time. From my understanding, Noah A.S was probably a prophet sent to the Chinese people, particularly related to the Yellow Emperor (three sovereigns, five emperors era). Yellow river was and still is, more prone to big flood if compared to the Mesopotamias and there existed an advanced anti-flood engineering back at the time of the Yellow Emperor. There exist parallel stories of "Guo", a flood engineer and an official of the royal court who "mistakenly" created an anti-flood structure that let many people died. That anti-flood structure could be a ship-like structure / island built with special techniques or materials that would keep a land afloat when they came in contact with water (a.k.a Noah's Ark as many people believe). Yes, what Noah a.s did was to keep the entire land afloat (much like a floating island) with "special guidance" from Allah SWT. This makes more sense if you consider the facts that animals in pairs were aboard that "ship" along with human and the fact that no known concept or artefact of a "extremely big wooden ship" was ever constructed in 3000 B.C.
I don't know about that, man. I think the Dravidas were relatively new if compared to the historical Noah AS, which I think occured around 3500 B.C to 2500 B.C. That alone predates even Zoroasterism by centuries, let alone Hinduism / Buddhism.

Allah sends Prophet when the correct beliefs are there (not distorted) but people do not act accordingly. But Allah sends Messenger (Rasool) when people have lost (distorted) beliefs altogether. Absolutely no chance of guidance. Allah had promised the messengers (Rasool) that no one can overcome them, but that promise is not there for Prophets. Therefore no messenger has been killed but many prophets were killed by the enemies.
Messenger (rasol) is the one who brings the new law (sheriya) for his people. Prophet (nabi) is the one who just renews and follows the Law (Sheriya) of the messenger before him to his people.

The concept of a Messenger (rasool) and a Prophet (nabi) is very simple. Every Messenger (rasool) is a Prophet (nabi), but every Prophet (nabi) is NOT a Messenger (rasool). The only difference is that a Messenger (rasool) who is appointed by Allah receives a revelation (wahy) which he has to deliver to his people and a Prophet (nabi) is only following the teachings and trying to teach the people this new legislation of a Messenger (rasool). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the only Messenger (rasool) who had to deliver the Message to all mankind and the jinn. The best example in the religious scriptures are Moses (pbuh) and Aaron (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Messenger (rasool) and Aaron (pbuh) was a Prophet (nabi).

It was after that global flood when the land appeared again, it was divided into continents before that flood there was one big land without pieces.

I believe there's a bit of a difference of opinion on the matter, but what the majority of the ppl mean when they say "world" is referring to the "known world" at the time, which was not very much at the time. difference between a prophet and a messenger in simple terms is as follows
a messenger is someone sent by God to remind people of worship of one true God with a Revelation
a prophet is some one who is sent by God to remind people of the worship of the one God in relation to the laws last revelation brought by last messenger God had sent to that people (eg : john the baptist (pbuh) is a prophet bcs he was preaching the mosaic laws which God sent through the messenger mosses (pbuh) but jesus(pbuh) who came in the time of john the baptist is messenger bcs he got a revelation )
note: every messenger is a prophet but not every prophet is a messenger

From my understanding, Noah A.S was probably a prophet sent to the Chinese people, particularly related to the Yellow Emperor (three sovereigns, five emperors era). Yellow river was and still is, more prone to big flood if compared to the Mesopotamias and there existed an advanced anti-flood engineering back at the time of the Yellow Emperor. There exist parallel stories of "Guo", a flood engineer and an official of the royal court who "mistakenly" created an anti-flood structure that let many people died. That anti-flood structure could be a ship-like structure / island built with special techniques or materials that would keep a land afloat when they came in contact with water (a.k.a Noah's Ark as many people believe). Yes, what Noah a.s did was to keep the entire land afloat (much like a floating island) with "special guidance" from Allah SWT. This makes more sense if you consider the facts that animals in pairs were aboard that "ship" along with human and the fact that no known concept or artefact of a "extremely big wooden ship" was ever constructed in 3000 B.C.
And not to forget in Hindu Scripture there's a global flood story called Manu.

Allah sends Prophet when the correct beliefs are there (not distorted) but people do not act accordingly. But Allah sends Messenger (Rasool) when people have lost (distorted) beliefs altogether. Absolutely no chance of guidance. Allah had promised the messengers (Rasool) that no one can overcome them, but that promise is not there for Prophets. Therefore no messenger has been killed but many prophets were killed by the enemies.
Messenger (rasol) is the one who brings the new law (sheriya) for his people.
Prophet (nabi) is the one who just renews and follows the Law (Sheriya) of the messenger before him to his people.
950 years in there countings at that time. The of hamurabi and before archaeological findings tell us that the year count back then where much shorter than today. So he wasn’t 950 years, the Quran simply using the terms that they used then.

Hello! Messager (nabbiy) - the one how calls people to follow previous book or message from God. Prophet - someone how gets a new book from Allah and calls pople to follow that book.

The concept of a Messenger (rasool) and a Prophet (nabi) is very simple.
Every Messenger (rasool) is a Prophet (nabi), but every Prophet (nabi) is NOT a Messenger (rasool).
The only difference is that a Messenger (rasool) who is appointed by Allah receives a revelation (wahy) which he has to deliver to his people and a Prophet (nabi) is only following the teachings and trying to teach the people this new legislation of a Messenger (rasool). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the only Messenger (rasool) who had to deliver the Message to all mankind and the jinn. The best example in the religious scriptures are Moses (pbuh) and Aaron (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Messenger (rasool) and Aaron (pbuh) was a Prophet (nabi).
