some particularly large jagras are rumoured to be able to produce in their stomach, and then puke, magical decorations, greatly coveted by hunters. Scientists aren't sure how this phenomenon happens exactly, but the currently accepted explanation is "bioenergy, son."

I made a BIG mistake. Great Jagras can grow up to 20 meters and in fact 2 meters are about the smallest ones you'll see. I brain farted hard and converted centimeters to meters incorrectly. Mea Culpa!

I will probably only cover variants in the same episode if they're in the same biome. Otherwise, I'll probably do them monster by monster for each biome

Animals have swallowed simmilarly proportionatly sized creatures and bigger before.
Sorry for being a year late but if i remember correctly, im pretty sure the reason the great Jagras is able to eat things that big is because it can unhinge its jaws

In the game do these happen even without the player triggering it?
Yup! Even if you stayed in base camp all game, the monsters will eat, rest, and do their own thing! It's one of the reasons why I love this game.
