    It's cool the way Pete shows us his gear. That stadium is huge! I'd love to play through that rig just once.

      @TwoNotestv  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The "stadium" is indeed a Roman amphitheatre located in Nimes, France. ;)

    Mmm. with the huge success of his Friedman BE OD pedal demo, I wonder why he is not using that pedal?

    Wah's always break on me too. I wish they'd make a CryBaby with an optical sensor. I got a Talk Box a few years back and love it. I use it mostly now in place of my stacks of wah's in need of modifying.

    I assume the Torpedos are daisy chained via line level, but if the stereo return from the time-based effects is returning to the amp effects return, how does the stereo get to the torpedos/PA? A splitter before the amp returns? SMH. Again, that glorious pedal board . . . I'm guessing 4 cables between the pedal board and backline. Or is it Dante'? IpMidi?

    Hi Pete, you are always an inspiration! Great rig again ;-) Do you still use Dunlop ultex 0.73? In my opinion it's an awesome pick, stick in my hand, great control! Rock on'

    @Pete do you use only one pre-amp on of those PT100 and use only the power amp on the second PT100 to do stereo? Thanks

    So which type of drive used the gladiators? I bet, most of them, analog pedals ´cause digital wasn´t invented yet in Nimes Colisseum early times...

      @OneAvsta 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah man watch his rig rundown and youll see hes actually really into completely vintage parts and tubes and slides and so on and seems pretty particular about it all, def not just as simple as "straight into a fully cranked amp" makes him sound haha killer player though so if not him then who :)

    • @CorbCorbin
      @CorbCorbin 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      OneAvsta That is a crazy episode. If you've gotta have old gear, he seems to have great stuff. And he definitely knows his tech. Him talking about that amp is very interesting.

    Hey Pete Thorn, I do not know if you are still in France, but this morning, the newspapers are announcing that Michel Polnareff is in life threatening condition at the American Hospital of Paris. Hopefully, he is going to come through, but this gig may have been his last. I noted that for some reason, French performers seem to like you as a side kick. Is this because of Mylène Farmer?

      oh I know I subscribe to his channel, he's awesome. I was just curious which of his amazing collection he plays on tour. an incomplete rig rundown without showing the most important part in my opinion , the guitars.

    so, everytime I see a touring rig, its always tube head(s) and convoluted pedal board. what does that tell you? it means the kemper is obviosly not good enough. if it sounded good enough then why the hell would anyone mess with all this convoluted shit? same with Axe fx. thats all you need to know when axing yourself if you should drop the $$ for a kemper. I want one but why doesnt pete just play that? a million times simpler. And even if couldnt replace ALL his pedals, you would think it could replace at least half. bummer.

    • @CorbCorbin
      @CorbCorbin 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coppulor It's what I always think as well. Every time I've tried to record with a Kemper I wasn't liking the overdrive/Fuzz sound. The delay and reverb can be good with them in a studio setting, but for any other mods I ended up using separate pedals. Boss has a new digital fx/looper out that is a fraction of the price and many of the fx sound so similar to me. It all sounds like a limitless version of the old digitech processors, that were supposed to replace everyone's rigs fifteen years ago or more.

    I don't understand a word he's talking about. I have my guitar, I pug a cable into my guitar and I plug the same cable into the front of my amp, I have a cable from the back of the amp that goes into the speaker cabinet. With all these fancy rigs, people need to explain what plugs into what. Are the Torpedoes amps or what? or are they modellers? lost with too much tech here.

    • @TwoNotestv
      @TwoNotestv  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Chris, the Torpedo Live that you show in the video can be seen as silent speaker cabinets, if you wish. You plug the speaker output of your amp into a Torpedo, instead of a cabinet. At home you can have your amp sound on studio monitors or headphones, on stage they have ear monitors or wedges to hear them play. The point is to avoid having too much noise coming from the guitar or bass system, and at home to play your amp in silence.

      Been pretty consistent since 2013, this live rig! I used the Torpedo live with 2 PT100's in 2013, with the same pedalboard (although some pedals have changed... )
