You could always change one Caiden to Cadence. Almost the same name, but a little different to prevent confusion… or just Kade. Both are cool names IMO.
I mean, in real life it’s not uncommon for two people in the same class to have the same name. So I think it’s fine. Maybe you can play into that and do some funny stuff with people getting them confused or something.
Deli's back! The QUEEN of the LP! "Twins" is how I learned to play and really get into Sims 4. I even downloaded your sims and their homes. This is so awesome and well-planned. The master!
Maybe Selena follows a mean girls story line, where she becomes friends with the populars and is mean to her actual good friends, then has a redemption arc. Also, I like the idea of having aging off. It gives you more of a chance to explore each household and character!

Salina, being influenced by their mean girl behavior "accidently" tells someone, and suddenly, the school knows about this rumor. Either Aurora finds out and they hate each other, or Aurora finds out, doesn't tell Salina because she feels bad about influencing her and faking her friendship.
The intro was great. The only improvement would be when you introduce the characters, have their names written out on the screen. It’s easier to remember all their names if we see them written out once or twice. This Lets Play is going to be great!
Once Aurora and Salina become "friends," maybe aurora can try to sabotage Salina's grades by encouraging her to skip class so that Aurora can still be the best student in class.
i feel this! it could be that aurora starts to feel bad at some point and they actually become friends, aurora is from a toxic family so she'd probably want to break free from that !
There is actually a mod by Konansock where you can choose your own classmates and is very easy to use I been enjoying it and won't play without this mode you have to be a teen to choose from the mailbox what classmates you want!!

Kaden seems like one of those kids who's not a nerd and not a popular kid but he's liked by the nerds and the popular kids and just kind of gets along with everyone
Daniel is so pressured that at some point he sneaks out and meets with Kaden, they chat it up and Daniel develops a crush on them. Daniel is secretly hoping to take Kaden to prom but doesn't want his parents to know. There's your storyline
The way Deli said "interested" when talking about Daniel messaging Kaden also made me wonder if they'd be a ship. (Which would of course horrify Daniel's parents.)
Literally same!!! I tried others but I couldn't get into them because Deli is just the best LPer lol. I do love James'challenges tho lol. I've only watched his High School Years series.
Love the characters so far, and I can't wait to see how their stories play out! I feel like turning aging off at least for a while would help, just because there are so many families and characters, and I worry that with just the standard couple of sim weeks you won't have that much time to develop everyone? And is it just me, but does Daniel give the vibes of someone who's so busy trying to be who he's expected to be that he doesn't have any idea who he actually is? Maybe he's interested in Kayden because Kayden represents something he's interested in for himself that he worries his parents might not approve of? The most common way to take that might be in terms of Daniel questioning his sexuality. But it could be anything, really. Like fashion, or Kayden's more alternative vibe. Or maybe it's just that Kayden is clearly so authentically themself and Daniel wishes he had that?
I think Aurora should try to be a fake friend to Salina and take her home to change her appearance. That's when Salina bumps into Daniel and falls in love. Meanwhile Daniel develops a crush on Kayden and starts going out with Salina to "appear straight". When Aurora gets to know that her brother is dating the school nerd she's going to show her true colours and be really mean to both Salina and Daniel and ask Daniel to break up with her. Later on Daniel would admit that he is gay and in love with Kayden and break up with Salina to pursue Kayden. He will get with Kayden and try to make things up with Salina, becoming friends. I feel like Aurora and the rest of the family wouldn't be so happy about Daniel seeing another guy but he rebels and finally feels free to be himself.
I usually play through a sim week with a family with aging on for only the active household, and i turn it on for the entire world once i'm playing with the last household in my rotation, this way everyone ages together :) Deli can still have aging on during rotational saves, but that depends on how often she'll be switching around the households, and who are the sims she wants to continue aging despite if she's playing with them or not (townies for example).
I like that a lot. Just the idea of being envious and totally polarised by another guy who can “be himself” without the pressures and demands of his parents. I feel like there’s lowkey some stoner culture behind that as well, not to make assumptions but it would be pretty funny if Kayden taught him the ways of…. Zen… and Daniel ended up falling off the wagon a little because of his newfound habit. It’d be an interesting approach
aging off is great idea! i also think it would be really juicy if salina and aurora had a friends to enemies to friends to lovers kind of arc…it could be really fun!
Aurora got all flirty around Salina...it would be interesting to see if there was a crush brewing and more than just a "keep your enemies close" storyline (or A has a crush and that's WHY she's mean to S cos A thinks she's jealous of S until she figures it out)
Doing something like an "enemy to lovers" storyline with Elena and Koa would be cute! and Tanae becomes her best friend who has a secret crush on her and is there for her whenever Koa and her get into a fight or something!
I’m enjoying this series! Looks like a lot of fun sims to get to know! At many American high schools there’s lots of dances and social events besides prom throughout the year, including other formal events similar to prom. You could just slightly modify the decor of your prom setting on your auditorium each week. Maybe in the sims universe instead of calling them dances, cotillions, etc they just refer to all school related dances as “proms”. Themes at my high school were Welcome Back Dance in August, Football Homecoming Dance in September, School Carnival Dance (which was themed whatever the theme for the carnival was...both raised money for the end of the year class trip) was sometime between end if September and start of October (depending on when the carnival was...it usually coincided with the same week as the county fair was occurring), Halloween Dance in late October, Harvest Ball (Autumn/Thanksgiving themed), Winter Ball also called Winter Formal (this had a dress code where one wore formal suits and dresses that were either white, light grey, or light blue and the decor was snowflakes, Christmas lights, and other wintery decor along with white, silver, light blue, and grey as the themed colors) in December, Basketball Homecoming Dance was in January, Valentines Dance in February (lots of pinks and reds and yes formal wear worn was pink or red, too), Spring Fling in March (pastel colors were worn and used for decorations...think Easter decor colors), Sadie Hawkins Dance in March (didn’t always happen, it’s based on the comic where girls in the fictional town ask guys out as a reverse of how it usually happened...I went to school in the 1990s and girls asked guys all the time so this dance if it occurred was just another excuse to have a dance and the themes were usually just whatever last year’s prom theme was reused), Junior-Senior Prom (at my school prom was limited to just the juniors and seniors, no freshmen or sophomores allowed! The juniors used money that they’d raised since freshman year to plan the event including choosing the theme: my junior year we chose harlequin/mardi gras as the theme, my senior year the theme chosen by the juniors was under the sea), End of the Year Dance. Some school clubs planned and hosted these events as fundraisers. FCCLA had the Valentines Dance, FFA had the Harvest Ball, TSA had Spring Fling, Beta Academic Society had Winter Ball, BPA had the Sadie Hawkins Dance, SkillsUSA had the Welcome and End of Year Dances. If any of the school sports teams won state championships there’d be a dance for that squeezed into the calendar and sometimes there were some dances that were held at the school that were for community organizations that help fundraise for the school like the Lions Club, Kiwani Club, Masonic Lodge, etc. They’d have special themed dances that weren’t annual traditions. These dances often didn’t cost anything to attend and were done to celebrate some achievement by the school. The organizations paid for the entire event. Example, in my state school districts receive report cards from the state government that grades the districts on multiple factors. So the first year that was introduced and my school district got all As on their report card there was a dance for that by one of those organizations. I don’t know what the theme was supposed to be, but the decorations were all gold and silver with art deco patterns or art deco images on them. The Homecoming dances usually either were themed with the sport they were connected with, or more commonly they were decorated to represent a previous decade. So for example one year the auditorium was decorated like the 1950s. And I know I’m old because one year while my niece was attending the same high school they had one themed the 1990s (for context I graduated in 1998). So yeah, since the prom happens every week in The Sims, you could just say that a prom in the simsverse is what they refer to a school dance event of any kind. I know we all took every dance to be as equally important as prom and I know via my niece, friend’s kids, and kiddos of my cousins that teens today do as well! Well, for those that have multiple events. I’ll admit the college I attended had very few official social events. Basically it was left up to clubs and groups and those usually weren’t treated like a big deal and were held in small venue locations (which is why I laugh so much at the tv show Community because the community college there has a dean that seems to always be hosting social events and dances and he kind of reminds me of my school’s administrators who would constantly interact with us students and encourage us to come up with ideas to make school fun that they’d then try to implement whereas I think I met my college’s administrators twice the entire time I was there and they seemed to have the attitude of “just got to get through another day”; to be fair the campus I went to was newly purchased from a private college that had closed and there was a lot of remodeling and repairs being done because soooo many of the buildings hadn’t been properly maintained for decades which was contrary to how the public college had been told when they purchased the campus at the huge sum that helped bail the private college out of financial debt. As one administrator told me once: “always have any home or building you buy thoroughly inspected before agreeing to the price.” She really seemed unhappy with the college’s board for buying the campus, but today it’s in great shape because of their leadership and has actually expanded with new buildings so I think she and the other dude were the right people to tackle the problem). Looking forward to the next video! And I also play rotationally in some of my saves so it’s awesome to see that being used for this series!!!
I love the name Savannah! The etymology of both the name and the English noun are from the Taíno word “zabana” which became “sabana” in Spanish. The Taíno are the Indigenous peoples of Puerto Rico, Cuba, Jamaica, the Bahamas, the Lesser Antilles, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. Since my partner is from Puerto Rico, it’s definitely on our baby name list lol.
Absolutely loving this!! I find your rotational storytelling gameplays so inspirational and entertaining! I’m sure some very talented modder in the community will be able to make a mod so you can choose what sims go to school.

I think you should have Salina stay uninterested in Aurora and the other Plastics and keep doing her thing. Then have Aurora's boyfriend become interested in her. Then Aurora's homelife, relationship and pride are on the line so she has to make Salina's life fall apart. 😂
Love the intro. It was perfect. I love the characters Salina and Tane so far. I think turning aging off would be a good idea. That way you can develop more of the storylines with all of the characters.
I see Aurora that type of girl that after her parents, the Ashcrofts, go in a vacation in Del Sol Valley, she throws a massive party in the mansion and asks Daniel/Koah to do some dirty stuff for her and ruin Salina's good reputation. :D Maybe you can also add The Sims 4 Basemental Drug Mod just to spice things up. And alsoo maybe you can draw attention to things like bullying, eating disorders or deviant behaviors in adolescents. I'm excited for the next episode

There is something special about the way you do storylines. I was so incredibly immersed watching this, and am currently DYING for more! This series looks so interesting. I always love how much effort you put into the storylines and relationships. Just echoing that ageing off would really help us explore the relationships and storylines, especially as it’s rotational. Or maybe having ageing on Long instead would mean prom is not as often, and you’d have plenty of breathing space for developing the teen storylines. I think having ageing off confuses the calendar system.
Thank you for incorporating Pacific Islander characters in this LP!!! I mean, you always do your best with including so many nationalities but it always pulls on my heartstring just that little bit more when you include cultural backgrounds related to me personally and I know my other poly(nesian)‘s feel the same way x

Idk about anyone else but the computer club uniform reminded me SO much of the mathlete uniform from Mean Girls, which is fitting because so far Salina is giving me Cady vibes! As soon as I saw her in that outfit I thought, "The limit does not exist!" 🤣
Class is for learning skills, that’s why we get pop ups, they learn quickly in class, they randomly do their own thing while in class, everything is surrounded by a long lunch, or after school, I remember my teacher would be strict and all we did was take notes or read, so honestly I think it’s ok, but I do enjoy your lps, very excited.
Can't wait for the next part!!! You have such a natural talent with the 'storytelling' and developing characters which is why everyone loves your LPs! (Also why do I kinda want to see Salina possibly get "revenge" on Aurora by getting with her brother after Aurora possibly sabotages her grades??)

Aurora got all flirty around Salina...it would be interesting to see if there was a crush brewing and more than just a "keep your enemies close" storyline (or A has a crush and that's WHY she's mean to S cos A thinks she's jealous of S until she figures it out)

At many American high schools there’s lots of dances and social events besides prom throughout the year, including other formal events similar to prom. You could just slightly modify the decor of your prom setting on your auditorium each week. Maybe in the sims universe instead of calling them dances, cotillions, etc they just refer to all school related dances as “proms”. Themes at my high school were Welcome Back Dance in August, Football Homecoming Dance in September, School Carnival Dance (which was themed whatever the theme for the carnival was...both raised money for the end of the year class trip) was sometime between end if September and start of October (depending on when the carnival was...it usually coincided with the same week as the county fair was occurring), Halloween Dance in late October, Harvest Ball (Autumn/Thanksgiving themed), Winter Ball also called Winter Formal (this had a dress code where one wore formal suits and dresses that were either white, light grey, or light blue and the decor was snowflakes, Christmas lights, and other wintery decor along with white, silver, light blue, and grey as the themed colors) in December, Basketball Homecoming Dance was in January, Valentines Dance in February (lots of pinks and reds and yes formal wear worn was pink or red, too), Spring Fling in March (pastel colors were worn and used for decorations...think Easter decor colors), Sadie Hawkins Dance in March (didn’t always happen, it’s based on the comic where girls in the fictional town ask guys out as a reverse of how it usually happened...I went to school in the 1990s and girls asked guys all the time so this dance if it occurred was just another excuse to have a dance and the themes were usually just whatever last year’s prom theme was reused), Junior-Senior Prom (at my school prom was limited to just the juniors and seniors, no freshmen or sophomores allowed! The juniors used money that they’d raised since freshman year to plan the event including choosing the theme: my junior year we chose harlequin/mardi gras as the theme, my senior year the theme chosen by the juniors was under the sea), End of the Year Dance. Some school clubs planned and hosted these events as fundraisers. FCCLA had the Valentines Dance, FFA had the Harvest Ball, TSA had Spring Fling, Beta Academic Society had Winter Ball, BPA had the Sadie Hawkins Dance, SkillsUSA had the Welcome and End of Year Dances. If any of the school sports teams won state championships there’d be a dance for that squeezed into the calendar and sometimes there were some dances that were held at the school that were for community organizations that help fundraise for the school like the Lions Club, Kiwani Club, Masonic Lodge, etc. They’d have special themed dances that weren’t annual traditions. These dances often didn’t cost anything to attend and were done to celebrate some achievement by the school. The organizations paid for the entire event. Example, in my state school districts receive report cards from the state government that grades the districts on multiple factors. So the first year that was introduced and my school district got all As on their report card there was a dance for that by one of those organizations. I don’t know what the theme was supposed to be, but the decorations were all gold and silver with art deco patterns or art deco images on them. The Homecoming dances usually either were themed with the sport they were connected with, or more commonly they were decorated to represent a previous decade. So for example one year the auditorium was decorated like the 1950s. And I know I’m old because one year while my niece was attending the same high school they had one themed the 1990s (for context I graduated in 1998). So yeah, since the prom happens every week in The Sims, you could just say that a prom in the simsverse is what they refer to a school dance event of any kind. I know we all took every dance to be as equally important as prom and I know via my niece, friend’s kids, and kiddos of my cousins that teens today do as well! Well, for those that have multiple events. I’ll admit the college I attended had very few official social events. Basically it was left up to clubs and groups and those usually weren’t treated like a big deal and were held in small venue locations (which is why I laugh so much at the tv show Community because the community college there has a dean that seems to always be hosting social events and dances and he kind of reminds me of my school’s administrators who would constantly interact with us students and encourage us to come up with ideas to make school fun that they’d then try to implement whereas I think I met my college’s administrators twice the entire time I was there and they seemed to have the attitude of “just got to get through another day”; to be fair the campus I went to was newly purchased from a private college that had closed and there was a lot of remodeling and repairs being done because soooo many of the buildings hadn’t been properly maintained for decades which was contrary to how the public college had been told when they purchased the campus at the huge sum that helped bail the private college out of financial debt. As one administrator told me once: “always have any home or building you buy thoroughly inspected before agreeing to the price.” She really seemed unhappy with the college’s board for buying the campus, but today it’s in great shape because of their leadership and has actually expanded with new buildings so I think she and the other dude were the right people to tackle the problem).

I love the name Savannah! The etymology of both the name and the English noun are from the Taíno word “zabana” which became “sabana” in Spanish. The Taíno are the Indigenous peoples of Puerto Rico, Cuba, Jamaica, the Bahamas, the Lesser Antilles, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti.
Since my partner is from Puerto Rico, it’s definitely on our baby name list lol.

I think you should have Salina stay uninterested in Aurora and the other Plastics and keep doing her thing. Then have Aurora's boyfriend become interested in her. Then Aurora's homelife, relationship and pride are on the line so she has to make Salina's life fall apart. 😂
Love the intro. It was perfect. I love the characters Salina and Tane so far. I think turning aging off would be a good idea. That way you can develop more of the storylines with all of the characters.

I see Aurora that type of girl that after her parents, the Ashcrofts, go in a vacation in Del Sol Valley, she throws a massive party in the mansion and asks Daniel/Koah to do some dirty stuff for her and ruin Salina's good reputation. :D Maybe you can also add The Sims 4 Basemental Drug Mod just to spice things up. And alsoo maybe you can draw attention to things like bullying, eating disorders or deviant behaviors in adolescents. I'm excited for the next episode

This series looks so interesting. I always love how much effort you put into the storylines and relationships. Just echoing that ageing off would really help us explore the relationships and storylines, especially as it’s rotational. Or maybe having ageing on Long instead would mean prom is not as often, and you’d have plenty of breathing space for developing the teen storylines. I think having ageing off confuses the calendar system.

Class is for learning skills, that’s why we get pop ups, they learn quickly in class, they randomly do their own thing while in class, everything is surrounded by a long lunch, or after school, I remember my teacher would be strict and all we did was take notes or read, so honestly I think it’s ok, but I do enjoy your lps, very excited.
You can download the choose your classmates mode, that way you can select only the sims you want there and what clubs they’re in etc 😊
