Btw rules state that all tasks go on and comms *stay* sabotaged. You're supposed to have to memorize the map and where your tasks are before the 10 second count down.

He even fixed the lights so that they could call the emergency meeting. Literally the only way he could lose.
Genuinely cried with laughter at Luke “admitting” to being the imposter. It’s even funnier on the other streams, where it comes completely out of the blue.
I watched Ian's stream first and called Luke's plan when he "admitted". It was actually disappointing to hear him just come out and say it. Now the comment is wasted lol.
I swear if Mike has corpse blindness, then Luke has corpse amnesia because he just keeps accusing dead people

I know we all like to laugh at Luke for his failed Galaxy Brain idea, but his plaintive little “Why did you eject me?” after the round was underratedly hilarious
This was the absolute best yet. Johnny and Aoife simultaneously quoting old eurogamer jokes, Johnny crying and reciting Warhammer quotes, Andy with his classic spoopy references, Ellen's squeaks of terror, luke agent of choas. Wonderful.
Don't forget Johnny's deep reach Transformers The Movie quote. Such the deep cut.

To be fair to Luke, something like that is so far in left field and does work. It’s a long term strat for sure.
I’ve won many a secret role game by outright declaring I had an important role even when false from the start and watching people’s reactions. You can then follow up the next rounds by making a similar declaration. It saves you needing to convince everyone so people don’t suspect what your role really is.
The fact that everyone continues to call him Space Mike makes me happy lol

Aoife's child voice is creepy for sure, but for some reason it always seems to cut out randomly when I watch so I can't help but laugh at the idea of a creepy killer with a child voice whose voice just keeps cutting out 😂

I really hope they do more of the hide and seek variant as it’s so much fun to watch. I wonder if the devs will incorporate it into the game as an actually playable mode.

I will never forget how Luke thought it was a good idea to say that he was the impostor.
So glad he didn’t say it when he was the imposter, he gets it so rarely it would have sucked for him to be immediately thrown out the air lock
I actually did this in a public game since I hate being imposter and my imposter partner left but no one believed me and they blamed each other. I almost won but I gave up and just killed someone in the open.
I watched this on the Dicebreaker stream and thought he wanted to ghost around and do his jobs, but the fact that he'd finished all of his tasks makes it absolutely baffling to me, haha. Especially since Johnny was about to correctly accuse Ellen!
But to be honest you could tell from the reactions that it was Andy and Ellen.
After a 3rd viewing and hearing him going through his logic, the plan comes down to: "I will lie and they will believe me, so that later when I tell the truth they won't believe me."

This Hide and Seek variant was one of the best things I've ever seen, super entertaining. Aoife was absolutely terrifying. Wonder if it's possible to increase the view cone of the imposter as time goes on, cuz that'd be even harder!

I rewatch these to help relax, and this has one of my favourite moments. 'Did he double back and get you?' 'He double backed and got me. It was so easy.'. I don't know why but never fails to bring a smile to my face.
Everytime I come back and rewatch this it's always funny. I love Luke accusing dead Ellen and then saying "I see, and we accept that alibi do we?" :P

It amazes me how the last two times Luke has been imposter (the other time was with Ellen a couple streams ago) he’s made amazing solo plays, deceiving everyone in the game, after his teammates died early and then he makes an Olympic level throw with one kill left to win.

It says a lot about how stressful those last few rounds were that Luke changed his tune 180 degrees. After the first round of Hide n Seek, he was exuberant and couldn't get enough of it! At the end, "may we never do this again!"

I think hide and seek would work better if everyone muted when they died, instilling a creeping silence as the imposter scythes through the crewmates.
The only real plus of that mode here was to hear everyone's panic. But I think it needs a ton of tweaks (besides changing basic rules) to make it actually viable for the Impostor; currently it's more of a competition of who can murder more before all the tasks are done.
For example I don't really see that the vision settings actually do anything, the problem for the impostor is finding and chasing down the victims, not seeing them. And the fast movement that they tried at the end mostly just increased the panic level but helped running away more than chasing. What could help level the field would be if the impostor had a slightly higher speed, no kill cooldown or if a killed crewmate's tasks would be given over to the others that are alive.
@@zulubunsen9067 yeah it was really very funny, but not really viable as a game without some fundamental changes to mechanics, like map size and how ghosts work. I mean it just becomes fundamentally harder for the imposter with each task in a way that can’t be tweaked out of existence. Still, I bet the developers could make it work, and more modes would definitely extend the length of time this game could be relevant.

@@Tinyvalkyrie410 Or an easier fix they could try is not playing H&S on the largest, most open map in the game. They should try Mira HQ; with its narrow corridors and more dead ends there would be less running around in circles, the Impostor could corner the others more. And if that would somehow prove too difficult for the Crewmates they could still try the Skeld as a middle ground.

After weeks of Among Us streams from dicebreaker, eurogamer, oxbox and oxtra, I can safely say that lip reading isn't that hard. At 1:00:35 you can see Andy clearly shout out: "I KNEW IT!" after being taken out by Johnny. :D He looks a bit disgruntled.

Johnny as Hide and Seek Imposter is possibly my favorite streaming moment of any stream ever.
That whole stream was excellent, especially the hide and seek rounds where everyone was so scared that they were able to force Andy into fear singing. I think everyone's outfits were just because they were tired of Mike being the only one going the extra mile.
