Y'all. I would just like to say that Derek's route is, legit, my favorite route of any visual novel/dating sim like game I've played. Straight. Up. CRIED. Cove is great, don't get me wrong. But personally, Derek fully won my heart!
This dlc made me sad, like I felt like the choices werent working and I even turned down cove who cried, only to receive a SPOILERS BELOW: Only to gain a little roommate. Our only kiss was as kids and I didn’t have the option to even kiss him at all like whyyyy. We couldn’t fall in love or get married cuz he’s more in his own head than cove. I just felt like I had ductape on my mouth whenever there usually might be a love option. Made me even miss cove. Ahhhhhh it’s so frustrating. So much potentialllll. Cove even cried when I turned him downnn. I mean it would be easier to understand the zero sexual tension or kissing tension aspect if he wasnt so damn attractive and we weren’t living in the same space. Tbh it’s a phenomenal game and I love everything about it this just almost made me lose my mind. Cuz I wasn’t avoiding asking him out at all. I even turned down cove. I was trying to be as open as possible, and I would ask if he was straight and that’s why but he was fine when me and him were kids when I ply as a guy and we kissed then. Might replay to test it
@@naioriofficial Yeah, you can only love one and if you loved Cove than you would only be friends with Derek. Sadly, you'd have to reload to before you chose to be in love with Cove and stick to crush/fond/indifferent. Then you can romance Derek. It's fine to crush on both but the point of love is that the person you pick is your one true love.

small thing but I really like the writing style in this scene! it feels very flavorful if that makes sense haha
When i hear derek's voice i was suprised"wow his voice is so deep"
When I first heard his voice in Cove Step 4, I felt like it didn't suit his appearance, but it has grown on me

Were you set to love with Cove? You can't romance anyone else if you love Cove, even if you turn him down.
