I've been watching the movie for 50 years. When the performance is changed this much (allowing for stage versus film) it is just difficult to feel the same way about it. Why does Danny Zuko here say "Cincinnati?" Of course I have always had a problem with Danny saying the car could be "hydromatic," which is a General Motors automatic transmission, and then later in the song he says "With a 4-speed shifter on the floor." You would not have a 4-speed shifter on the floor of a car that has an automatic transmission. The song writer was obviously not a car guy.
