@@ManAndRod Yeah brother, had to get up and away super early (0400hrs) to get to the spot and get the early bites!! Landed a few decent brownies and a couple of rainbows so well happy with that!!
Yeah, totally get you. Hard to wake up so early but it can be very rewarding. So happy for you bro 😎👊🎣 do you often catch rainbow in your rivers? I never caught in river, only my friend caught one.
@@ManAndRod Nah Brown Trout in the rivers, but I was at a local reservoir. Some monsters in that water too. There's been 6 and 7lbs both brown and rainbows pulled there this year. EPIC spot.
I just found your channel, really great trout fishing!! Which St Croix do you prefer the 64LF or the 60ULf? Both look great in your videos, the 64LF seems to offer more control of the fish. Congrats on the new baby!
Thanks 😁🥳 🤝 Hard to say, LF is much more powerful rod than ULF, definitely gives way more control. But ULF has so much more flexibility in it and holds fish way better, specially small trout. So yeah good power over holding fish good. If would be in between, would be close to perfection 🎣
😅 no worries. At this moment i started using another rod - Tenryu Rayz Spectra. Very nice rod but as well could be a bit more flexible. I can fight almost any fish. But that's what i noticed with trout rods so far - more powerful rods controls fish very well but loosing a lot of small trout as it is a bit too sturdy. And lighter up to 5 g are very flexible and absorbs shakes very well, there is almost no chance for fish to escape but in my opinion they don't have enough power to fight bigger fish in stronger current, very hard to turn fish around. Don't know how close or far i am from true but that's just my experience and thoughts 🤔😁🎣
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed 🤝🎣 Was using: Rod: ST Croix Trout Series 2022 model TFS64LF2 1.7-7g Reel: Shimano Vanford 2500 Just i would prefer my rod to be softer
Definitely yoy can use it and you will catch. Probably will be catching bigger trout and won't smaller ones. Almost always catch more on smaller lures but 75 is still good size 🎣
Yeah. I always do that for trout fishing. Less damage to fish and much easier to unhook, less tangling in net. I probably loose some fish because of that but i don't mind - fare game, trout has more chance 😅🎣🎣🎣
Thanks for comment 🤝 It is hard to get correct angle as i can't see where I'm filming. Totally agree with You and I'll stick to my old way - on chest 😁🎣
Top tip....Ps....carry a hook hone/sharpener. 🪝 you'd be surprised how many times your hooks have bumped rocks etc and been comprised in terms of hooking power.
This lure really works! I also love using Rapala 💥
It is indeed. I cast brilliant, works very well, super easy to use and catching well 😁👊🎣
Watching again to get hyped for a session 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Noticed your comment too late, probably already fishing. Hope you're having great time and great catch 😁👊🎣🎣🎣

Hi! Wonderful video, congratulations again! The paint does not come off easily from your bait???some people complain about this.

Didn't used this lure for so long yet but so far so good. Feels like well painted

Would a 75 be too large for trout?

Countdown hot tiger is deadly for salmon in Scotland
Thanks for sharing 😁🤝 🎣 which size, are you talking about 9.5 cm?
@@ManAndRod 5cm and 7cm it's just a small river I fish. Have caught salmon on all kinds of lures and spinners but nothing compares to a hot tiger
If this year I'll manage to go for salmon fishing, this lure will be firs to try 😁 thank you mate 😁🤝🎣
@@ManAndRod no problem mate. There's actually a video on TH-cam of me catching one on a hot tiger. River minnoch
Oh nice 💪 I'll check your video and channel 😁🤝🎣
Did you put single hooks on instead of trebles

What size single hooks do you use great videos I think I meet you once on the river wharfe
For this lure i use size 6 single hooks.
Oh nice. If u will see me again, please come to talk 😁🤝🎣🎣🎣
What gram is that lure buddy
It's 5g
Is the lure the gilded rainbow trou
Yes, that's the colour 🎣
