Good morning Pam and menagerie! 💕 All the unrelated tidbits (words, old mail, dictionary page, etc.) are not just “useless junk” (as someone once said to me). For someone who actually journals or simply enjoys browsing the pages these little tidbits can be great jogs to memories long forgotten. When you held up the Stock Yard receipt my mind flew back to my first (and only) trip to a stock yard sale with my father oh so many years ago when I was little. I had forgotten all about it. Thanks for the visit. Love this fluffy girl you’ve made! 💕

Some of these scrapbooks would be great to put into a time capsule for someone to receive in about 50 to 100 years time, ( if the earth is still here ), just to show what crafting was like around the year 2022. Mmmmmm the mind boggles. What a treasure that would be. Just a thought. Keep safe and stay well.

Thank you for this series. It's just what I needed on how to alter a book. I got as far as removing all the pages, but then it sat because I didn't know how to do a hidden spine. I'm sure I could have figured it out but it helped a lot to have the details and tips to save time, and it motivated me to go ahead and just do it.

Mom always said to measure a yard of material, measure it from out stretched hand to out stretched hand. So you used about a yard to bind the book closed!

Oh Pam, I really enjoyed this whole series. I have made a few journals that are waiting for decoration. This series has helped me a lot when it comes to the pages. I like the way you tackled it signature by signature. I could not find a Heart Throbs book but found a "Mother of Pearl" book. That will be my chunky monkey using all the things you showed us and will include a lot of family ephemera. Thanks for all you do to help us create with abandon! :)
