I've been following your Etsy VS Shopify journey from day 1 and i love how honest and real you are, which is hard to find on TH-cam because everyone is just trying to sell me something. You just come off as very genuine. Hopefully I'll be able to open my shop soon and apply all your tips. I'm a little overwhelmed but excited at the same time

I remember you saying that you weren't really happy with them, can you explain further? Hey! I feel like there’s some trickle down effect still from that marketing attempt but I have definitely been doing my own marketing and seen great results! I’m still searching for a company that is legitimate and produces real results, not just inflated numbers! I will be doing an update on the Pinterest Marketing and a deep dive into it soon!
Well, my first thought would be that after three months of selling on a shopify store, if you have done everything correctly, you will be making WAY more than the $39 a month to cover your store fee. But, you can sell digital products on Big Cartel! You can only sell 5 products with the free version and I am not sure if they require a higher price point to sell digital or if you can do it even on the free version. You could also set up a Stan Store to sell digital but you do have to pay for that and it isn't cheap.
In another video you released around this time comparing Etsy and Shopify, you showed that Pinterest did not drive sales… so guess I’m a bit confused. I am using Pinterest to drive sales and I get traffic from Pinterest but haven’t had any sales, which is the entire point of using the platform, for me.
I currently have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest! I do use Pinterest and TikTok to drive all the traffic to my website (plus some does come from TH-cam but not the majority) while I do get a lot of traffic from Pinterest, I am not seeing the sales conversion I want to see from the platform yet. (Or, the tracking pixel isn’t working correctly!) I think that the combo of those two platforms is the best way to drive traffic, but like anything, it’s going to take work to reach your ideal customer! Once you figure out that you will have more success.
