They definitely made the absolute best music of their career when they were “Christian.” Whether that’s coincidence or not, who knows. The trio of Life In General, Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo and Ever Passing Moment back to back to back is my pick for the greatest trilogy of albums in punk rock history.

I second that spiffy8576!! I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I did like the renaissance too but everything after was just meh

Ironically when they played "Do Your Feet Hurt?" on stream last month he changed the the lyric about "one true god above". Dude got older and realized how flawed that entire belief system is. Good for him.

He was never really deep with it that's why it didn't stick with him. If you've never read the whole Bible you shouldn't make such bold claims.
Also their music was profoundly better back then with some eternal inspiration than the high pitch vocal mall punk they play now.

@Manuel Mendez it's because religious dogma is ancient superstitious nonsense used to try to scare ppl into living a certain controlled way. We have laws and police and courts now so it is no longer relevant

@@frarfarf I've heard that response a thousand times, I don't mean to be rude but it shows a lot of ignorance. I used to be atheist but seeking and finding the Most High can be a scientific process but it takes a lot of sincerity and you must put your biases aside and seek like a true journalist would with no pre conceived notions.
If you study history you can see that the modern age is regressing; for all the technological advancements we've made we still have:
Pandemics, school shootings, mistreatment of animals, horrible processed foods, deadly weather storms, colonization, hunger, slavery, sex trades, major bank bailouts, high rate suicide, high rate incarceration, senseless wars, etc.
