- A senior US diplomat is travelling to India and Bangladesh this week to reaffirm the US commitment to supporting the economic growth of its partners and promoting stability throughout the Indo-Pacific region, the US State Department said on Tuesday.
Donald Lu, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, will travel to India and Bangladesh from September 10 to 16, a statement of the US Department of State said

Yhe MEA should ask the US embassy to take care of his reception at the Airport On landing anddepute a lowlevel Official to hear what he has to say. From our side the MEA should hand over a written statement warning the US that any interference in our country either by the covert US diplomats or Bangladeshi infiltrators, will be met with serious consequences for the concerned.
