Thank you! I just received mine today and I was also wondering what the o-ring was for. Must be a spare piece? I'm going on my first ever camping trip in a few days so I'm trying to make sure everything works. These videos are extremely helpful for newbies like me since I have no experience with camping (I'm 48 years young). Never too old to try new things!

Thank you so much for watching!!. No age limit for camping! Test to potty at home a few times to test it out. Have a great time!

@3:52 when he says you remove that cap and put water in it. DO NOT DO THAT! That is the drain cap, where all your lovely poopy lives.
The water fill cap is right above that, much smaller and not vertical. You will have a bad, bad day if you remove the drain cap to add a little water.
This guy knows which is which, because just before this he explains that. Just slipped his mind as he was filming and talking at the same time, happens to everyone.

I was thinking maybe the O ring is supposed to go in or it would leak or something but i guess its just a spare part! I was wondering why they didnt have actual instructions for those 3 plastic pieces and the black foam o ring

At 6:45 you can see an o-ring that looks like the spare you showed at the end of the video.

Hey, I’m in an econoline and I’m looking for a toilet. Considering this. Any updates? How’s the smell? I’m afraid of stank in a small space. Thanks in advance.

Hi again. No smell. No leaks. I do have a 10" foldable step i place it on. Its very low to the ground.

Could that extra piece be a ring to go around the valve area maybe?

I’ve had mine for close to 7 months and didn’t lubricarte the pull valve. Didn’t use it all winter and now it’s stuck. Do you have any advice on how to unstick it? It feels sealed shut completely.

Thanks for watching! You can pour a cup of hot water in the bowl itself. Let sit for 30 mins. Work the handle. It should work free. What I do if I store it, is spray the rubber part of the valve with wd40. Good luck

Mine was stuck brand new from Amazon. sprayed some silicone spray on , let it sit for a day so it could really soak into all parts before trying it again. Works great now.

Mine came without an owners manual or the O ring.

I don’t think working on a picnic table is the best place for a toilet
