I dont think calling chosen ones are correct. I think Allah just answered our prayer to be close to Him. Allah wants your attention completely. So He isolate you by giving you hard test and alone without any help unless from Allah SWT. I think the key is to ask Allah SWT love. Ask this you will given entire world. Wallahu a'lam Bishawab

Meanwhile Allah's messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) was encircled with his companions and family till his last breath.... This is what the Seerah says!
You forgot the point in the video when he said that you will make relationships that are aligned with your understanding, or words to that effect. If you've read the Seerah, then you know Mohammad SAW before they got the revelation would often go into solitude. For example, the cave where they met Jibreel AS. Allah knows best

Although the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) was not alone in Madinah, his purpose was different b/c he was sent specifically as a Prophet in order to guide the people, so it was impossible for him to self isolate. Also, prior to his prophecy, he felt much loneliness while praying in solitude in caves, while preaching in Ta'if, when he was orphaned (and in fact was the only infant from Mecca who had not been claimed by a wet nurse until Halima's husband suggested that he may bring some barakah to them). As we are not Prophet's, I generally believe that being alone while standing up for what is right and having a kind heart is a great sign, and probably almost necessary in today's world.

Be connected to a Shaykh and you can seek knowledge and work on strengthening connection with Allah under their guidance. It'll also help you have a community of pious and like-minded Muslims. And if your relationship with your Shaykh is based on love for the sake of Allah then it has lots of rewards.

Verse 159 of Surah ŀl-'Imrān states the following: It was by that Mercy of Allah that you (Prophet Muhammad) dealt so leniently with them. Doesn't mean that you are not suppose to get married and stay online. It's Sunnah to get married and being alone Is actually not recommended at all and in some cases prohibited
