Nanoha's is easily the best transformation scene ever, especially her first transformation in the Movie 1st. All the mechanical bits assembling, things spinning and sliding and locking.... she spins around and her barrier jacket warps on out of thin air a la Sailor Moon but so much more nicely animated. First time I saw it in the series I spent like 15 minutes watching it again and again n not just to see naked Nanoha. Then the Movie 1st did it even better!
I know for me, Sailor Moon's transformation is the most iconic mahou shoujo henshin sequence, but Nanoha's has the most... whimsical and fantastic music.
god I downloaded my StrikerS audio cd and started listening to it and when I hear this theme I started freaking out I will never forget this theme! nanoha forever~! xD
