The Eminem Show was released at a time when I really needed it. I was a lonely, empty 12-year-old with a cold, distant, alcoholic father and The Eminem Show made me feel seen and like I had a friend. It felt real and raw. Quite bluntly, his album might be why I’m alive today.
And yes, it sounds like old Eminem. Skillful and fun but not focused on being bar heavy(one isn’t better than the other imo)...it’ll remind you of the old days listening to Eminem
Honestly nothing will ever match the effect of the first time I heard the Slim Shady LP when it came out. It was so unbelievably insane, yet so fucking good. Had never heard anything like it. I knew immediately he was going to be enormous.
Can you react to Superman off the same album? It’s a classic. You’ve probably heard it before but it’d still be cool to see you react to it. The Superman video is heavily edited so I’d just do the audio.
This album is top 3 for me. Slim shady lp number 2 because it's a classic and the last double album mtbmb a & b because his lyrical ability turned on to God mode.

The part where you say you're not sure what he's saying but like the way it sounds, I can tell you it makes sense to me because I was a teenager then. I don't know if it helps but around that time there was a lot of rappers beefing with each other from different labels, some got shot and lived some got shot and didn't, and the newspapers, news stations, political figures were all over reporting the stuff from different points of view. Those venues of news varied much more back then on how they represented things unlike magazine type sights and news stations today that all seem to share one script. Many public sources went after Eminem in a rather nasty way while others like, I think it was VH1 were pretty supportive. You didn't have the kind of individual created content available back then like this channel of yours. He was basically saying go on and keep going blah, blah, blah running your mouths about me I don't care because publicity was publicity and just made more people find his music to see what the big deal was. He was politically incorrect and not going to apologize for saying whatever he wanted. I respected that about him in the 90's and early 2000's but I feel like something has changed about him in that way in the past 10 or so years and I'm disappointed by it. Anyway his ability to create beats and spin and spit lines with such clarity is still amazing to me and I'll always respect that skill. I'm not saying my explanation is good or everyone that was my around my age would see it this way but I tried to explain. The feeling of living during that time is so difficult to explain I won't try but I will say it was intense for me going to a bigger inner city scool then and the feeling in the halls when you arrived on a day when everyone knew another rapper you listened to was dead or in the hospital. I don't think it's something that can really be conveyed, at least not by me.

SALUTE to you & SALUTE to Marshall Mathers for the album👊🤟👏
I agree Eminem music helped through a lot of rough times he spoke facts and understood what the average person was facing.
The hook is meant to be like one of those old army conscription ads
I just love watching these kids react to the shit I grew up on and jam to it.
Goat , Eminem show is probably my fav album of all time
Musical genius , Eminem has and will stand the test of time , hit after hit after hit , some artist’s make it look so easy and he’s one of them.
This is his best album imo 🔥
Good news...he just released Jimmy, Brian and Mike...a song for the expanded edition of the album with new and old vocals.

Another one riding the bandwagon of Eminem. He has no clue about Em.
It says “first time hearing” in the title😂
If you don't like react videos that's fine, but what's this weird ahh comment 😂
