Charlie is my favorite. Too bad he was eliminate very soon. He is one of a kind. He is versatile. He could sing something as mellow as this and as powerful as his performance in the knockouts. I want to see some more of him.

Okay, okay. I'll share my opinion. On the first time I heard this song, I was so mesmerized on both sides! Some just don't know but if you really know first the song and then the voices of the two, it is outstanding. It was a soulful + powerful combination of two sides. Against All Odds is a very soulful song, and for me, I heard the value of the song. As what I observed on the comments, I just realized that there are more ignorant people than the audiences of the stage itself. "Boring" is the common word used for describing this performance but for me, it is not. You guys are just ignorant not to evaluate what is really the song is. Kanta lang kasi kayo ng kanta, rinig lang ng rinig, judge lang ng judge, mga wala namang natanto sa kahit ano. KAPESTE.
Oh Sunkyu unfortunately, this is one of my favourite song and Charlie didnt sang it well.. Its nice, indeed.. no doubt.. but, its not up to what I've expected.. just opinion tho.. :)
P/s: and the notes, it sounded not as how it should.. This is old song.. they didnt sang it as how it should.. the improvision was not done well - flat at times to be exact..

This is a very difficult song to sing, particularly the climax. None of them could reach the high notes in the climax. The girl were flat plenty of times and had the lyrics messed up quite a few times as well. Compared to Morissette's version of this song, this performance was really quite mediocre.
