We have really been enjoying your videos! I found your channel when searching for info on a Tayana 37 and the boat is even higher on our list of boats now.
Hi Joe - Thanks for watching and for the comment. We are very happy with our Tayana. She is sturdy, comfortable, and reliable. Let us know if you have any questions as you search for your boat. We recommend joining the Tayana Owners Group (TOA) - there is a wealth of information there and boats for sale that you might not find elsewhere. Cheers!
@@Returntoseasons Thanks for the advice, I just signed up on the TOA the other day! I've been learning all I can. We have an appointment to get onboard our first Tayana 37 on next Monday. We are very excited about that! Cheers
Return to Seasons - Sailing The vessels name is Wilparina (that would probably have to change) and it’s a 1982 so unfortunately not a Mk II from my understanding. Hopefully we are going to be able to look at a Baba 35 the same day.
@@joehulburt8710 We recently we invited aboard an early Tayana design and found it to be very seaworthy and well-laid out. It seems like the Tayanas were heavily customizable so they all are a little different. We got lucky with Bear as we do not have teak decks. This would be our main concern with an older Tayana. The Baba's are also great boats. We looked at one in FL before buying Bear, it was named Northern Lights. It was a real beauty. Good luck with the search. Keep us posted!
Hi Bruce - We are currently in the Long Island Sound, working our way south. Since our engine blew, we got waylaid in Maine for much longer than we thought this season. The videos are not from "real" time - we are still working through footage from last season. We hope to get caught up eventually...perhaps while we are sitting somewhere warm this winter relaxing. Thanks for watching!

@@joehulburt8710 Awesome! Let us know how it goes. Do you know the name or hull number of the vessel you will be looking at?
