One of my biggest wishes for FH6 is a more in-depth story like we saw in Horizon 1. It would make the setting and characters feel much more alive, even more so than FH5.
Forza horizon 1 is in my top 3 favorite games of all time, its a game that I can play over and over when I have nothing to play either on my Xbox 360 or series X
I miss Horizon Colorado 2012, it was just a simpler time. I remember I was 12 years old when this game came out and I would just come home turn on my 360 and once I started playing It felt like I got transported to the festival. All mental struggles of mine just evaporated and I loved the visuals of driving around through a place that felt like home. It had beautiful trees, buildings, sunsets and of course beautiful cars. I partied at the festival and I think we all did. Unfortunately in this universe everything has a set lifespan even the universe itself. So make every bit of your life count, make your life fun it will only come once. So my final message is make life your horizon! Goodbye.
There should be a legal requirement that games where multiplayer was a core, advertised feature, should be forced to open source their servers or at least provide some server binaries for players to self-host if they no longer wish to provide this service officially. Think about it, you're paying for the whole game, it's not a subscription service or rental, you're buying it so you should own it, they shouldn't be able to just take it away. Many games become basically unplayable once servers are off, many will lose much of its content, it's terrible for video game preservation. People nowadays can still load up mario and enjoy it as if it just came out, but 20 years from now you won't be able to load up FH1 and relive those memories, because you never truly owned it in the first place. Digital media ownership should be regulated to prevent this.
Anyone used to always play Forza horizon 2 and you used to not be able to afford the Hennessey venom GT and the only time you're able to use it was from the bucket list. Who misses the bucket list?
The servers shutting down really makes me wish that i had built more of an attachment to Horizons 1 and 2. They came out when i was 11 and 13 respectively and i couldn't buy DLCs and I didn't have xbox gold. I really feel like i missed out on a bunch of fun times and unicorn cars that I won't be able to experience
The good memories of entering playground events in multiplayer back in 2013. Everything was so peaceful that this game was a part of my 4th grade years. 2015 was also the year that I got the 350 version of Horizon 2 which was okay. Multiplayer was good but the game did needed an update. So to the mod crew for both titles, please bring us back to those times, add more features, and repair the 360 version of Horizon 2. To Microsoft, Turn 10, and Playground Games, thank you for beginning a chill franchise after grinding in Motorsport.
FH1 and FH2 were the pinnacle of all of our childhoods and it’s really sad to see the online feature go. There will now be no other FH game without online lobbies 😢 Like if you love FH1 and FH2 👇🏻
This was the game that got me into cars. Me and my brother would race each other all the time, he would always use a maxed out R8 spyder and I’d always use a maxed out Gallardo. Seeing you and fire do your last online race in the same cars as we would do was extremely nostalgic. So happy I have a clean disk for my series X whenever I’m feeling nostalgic
FH1 in my eyes is the best of the series, 2 a close second. The game had personality. It also had races where you could only use a Volkswagen, hot hatch, muscle car, etc., not just bring what you brought at a certain power level. Also you didn't get the fastest car in the first 30 minutes. And you had to upgrade your car and make money to progress. Made you want to come back and play again. Made the game more challenging and fun. They had a story line and it was a zero to hero progression system. The new games are all about instant gratification and low attention spans, and its not about the quality of the story and progression. Side note, FH1/2 had the best radio stations. Note: I posted this on another video, but it has to be said... :)
Forza Horizon 2 was my first forza horizon got it in 2019 didn't know a thing about Forza just thought it looked interesting, since then Horizon 2 and 4 have become some of my all time favorite games (5 is prettt good too) I then got Horizon 3 in 2022 and I'm still looking for a physical copy of Horizon 1. Over all this is truly a sad day (also anybody know how to install Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox series X I have a physical copy but I can't download it, it gets stuck at about 80%)
I was able to install the fast and the furious forza 2 standalone game that was in my library. Don’t have forza 2 to experiment. Was gonna buy forza 1 physical but now you have me thinking twice.
BLOW THIS UP!!!!!! They should start a dedicated branch for the older forza games, to keep the servers up and running and fixing bugs. It would be the best thing ever
I will never forget all those games where the entire lobby would use the glitch on the Bunker map in Infected, and would bring the game to the entire map... So many awesome memories. I've literally never had more fun playing a game.

Day 20 of asking Nick: Nick please do a cops and robbers in Forza Horizon 5 that starts at the yellow church in gutajarto to Buena Vista on the west side of the map while driving a Renault 4L Export (upgraded) while the other guys drive Crown Vic's while only one can choose a super car! But all the cop cars have to be painted with the "Nick Patrol" paint job to make it extra spicy! PS love your videos. Keep up the good work plus the comedy you make me and my brothers laugh every time we see one of your videos!

They need to bring the 5.1l v10 from this audi to fh5. Oh also does anyone else want remasters because I sure as hell do but the only differences is having all of the cars from 1 through 5 including dlcs and car packs , upgrades, tuning, paints, insgtead of keeping the map small just add onto it and make 90% of things destructible, and last but not least the customization options from fh5 pls comment I u agree and share ideas with my comment cuz we could think about upgrades and visual customizations that we still don't have for some unknown reason like DRAG PARTS AND BUILDING AN ENGINE THAT CAN MAKE OVER 3300+ HP for drag racing

FH6 DLC needs to have FH1 location and it needs to basically be the entirety of FH1, with some things that aren't necessary for nostalgia sake. But it needs to be the map 1 to 1 scale, it needs a bunch of the cars that were in FH1, and it needs the story mode to some degree, or a story similar to FH1's story.

multiplayer is still up because it uses xbox live peer to peer the shutdown only got rid of liverys/ community made content u have to press refresh on the server list sometimes but sad since nobody really plays it anymore but fh1 100% up but i dont know about fh2
Jeez, I never grew up with or played the two but surely the grief I have for inaccessible dlc in fh3 pales in comparison too that of the loss of online servers for both fh and fh2, my condolences
Forza horizon 1 and 2 have paved the way for more open world racing games to be made and for for 3 more generations of forza horizon games which I sometimes play. I am thankful for this game and the funny moments that happened and all the memories Thank you forza 1 and 2 for making my childhood and making me love games even more 🫡
Horizon 1 and 2 have so much more soul than Horizon 5. The series started to feel sort of "soulless" in Horizon 4. And its gotten worse in Horizon 5. Also I don't even know how the engine sounds in Horizon 2 and 3 sound better than in 5.
I have loved fh1 since the day it came out, only discvering that the servers are down now just makes me sad. fh1 is the whole reason I got into all the fh games in the first place. Thank You fh1 for making me love racing again.
I spent so many hours in Horizon 2. It was the first game I had on my Xbox One. And I remember while downloading it, I could play the demo area, and I just drifted around the city in a Supra for about 8 hours collectively while it downloaded.

Forza Horizon 1 is one of my All-time Favorite Racing games! On X360, I played this, FM4, PGR4, and Dirt 4 with my first Sim wheel: Fanatec CSR. Good times!
what makes me sad is that i have never played online or got anything related to it and i have the game for about 10 years but i was just 6 years old and never tried to find more things about online, i just saw how online was cool last month :(
I didn’t even know they shut down the servers, I actually installed the game again a while back but knowing the servers are gone actually hurts. I only really played back in 2014 or 15 so it’s a bit vague but I remember enjoying it unlike newer forza games
The end and rest in peace online for FH1 & FH2. Im trying not to cry just like it happened in Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turimso 6 how their servers died luckily to modders they are keeping the game alive just like the Wii online games.

I hope that in a future horizon game they go back to Colorado with an expanded version of the same map, and bring back all of the game modes that were in FH1, also easter eggs like all the original barn find barns being there but being empty and open and having to find more barn finds around the map
Playing infected in FH1 brought back so many memories considering I have at least a thousand hours in Beamount alone. Man I hope someone does find a way to play multiplayer again

Some of the best stuff that happened to me was in FH2 where some guy told me if i beat his time, ill get 22,000,000 credits and i actually did it

multiplayer is still up because it uses xbox live peer to peer the shutdown only got rid of liverys/ community made content u have to press refresh on the server list sometimes but sad since nobody really plays it anymore but fh1 100% up but i dont know about fh2

Jeez, I never grew up with or played the two but surely the grief I have for inaccessible dlc in fh3 pales in comparison too that of the loss of online servers for both fh and fh2, my condolences
remember playing fh2 with my friends like the day it came out. sad to see multiplayer go away. atleast we can still play though

Forza horizon 1 and 2 have paved the way for more open world racing games to be made and for for 3 more generations of forza horizon games which I sometimes play.
I am thankful for this game and the funny moments that happened and all the memories

Cat and Mouse may of been a feature in FH1 but dont worry its alive and strong in Fh5. highly recommend trying it out Nick
Horizon 1 and 2 have so much more soul than Horizon 5. The series started to feel sort of "soulless" in Horizon 4. And its gotten worse in Horizon 5.
Also I don't even know how the engine sounds in Horizon 2 and 3 sound better than in 5.

I spent so many hours in Horizon 2. It was the first game I had on my Xbox One. And I remember while downloading it, I could play the demo area, and I just drifted around the city in a Supra for about 8 hours collectively while it downloaded.
I have a question Nick. Are they giving you all rare cars on forza 2 too? Also can you ask developers to give Xbox 1 players forza 1 and all it’s dlcs and 2? 1 final time tomorrow from 12:00 am to 12:00 am Aug 22 to 23?

Forza Horizon 1 is one of my All-time Favorite Racing games! On X360, I played this, FM4, PGR4, and Dirt 4 with my first Sim wheel: Fanatec CSR. Good times!

I didn’t even know they shut down the servers, I actually installed the game again a while back but knowing the servers are gone actually hurts. I only really played back in 2014 or 15 so it’s a bit vague but I remember enjoying it unlike newer forza games

I hope that in a future horizon game they go back to Colorado with an expanded version of the same map, and bring back all of the game modes that were in FH1, also easter eggs like all the original barn find barns being there but being empty and open and having to find more barn finds around the map
Playing infected in FH1 brought back so many memories considering I have at least a thousand hours in Beamount alone. Man I hope someone does find a way to play multiplayer again
I have thousands of hours in FH2 and even though multiplayer servers have been gone for over a year it still sucks to see the servers of my favorite car game die what will most likely be forever

This was my childhood. I remember getting 100% progress on both games and feeling super accomplished. Thank you Turn 10 for such a memorable experience.
FH1 Infection in the golf course, my favorite memory.
FH1 and FH2 were the peak of the Horizon series in my opinion. Even Forza Motorsport was at its peak with Forza Motorsport 4.
