I agree! I noticed that is a pattern in cases like this.... the family acts like the mom is inheriting millions of dollars or something. And even if they were, it's not coming out of their pockets???? Be happy a child is being cared for financially.

My ex-husband (we were together for 15 yrs) and I separated when my daughter was 8. He never paid child support and believe me I pursued it relentlessly (I swear he was sleeping with someone at the Dept. of Revenue or somehing because I'm the only case I know where they knew where he was at & chose to do nothing time & time again; I first did it through our divorce putting that if he didn't spend time with her then I wanted child support and he was very animated about his 'miracle' child as we thought we both were going to struggle to have one before our daughter was born, but I couldn't get the court to enforce that...lawyer or not as I did it both ways). She was definitely planned even more so by him as I was nervous about my health (our daughter also has health issues, some inherited from me but that's how he initially love bombed me as I had no one to help me after I lost my last family member at age 17; I only had her because of my health issues because I would only have my best chance in my early 20s and I wanted to do everything right). His wife (2 years after me so no cheating as we never crossed paths once; she has MS similar to what I have but I have a few other severe limitations now too so he love bombed her as I guess that's obviously his MO is to go after women with major health needs) has been with him the same time lenghth where she instantly had one child, then another 3 yrs later, then a third over 7 years later at the time of his death due to a post-op that went bad when he returned to the hospital.
She's suing the hospital and told my daughter (who she only got close to because my daughter was the only surviving related next of kin who had reached majority age) that she is not getting ANY survivor benefits for my daughter's half-siblings. Is that true as her children are age 15, 12 & 5 (this was last year)? I know it stops when they reach age 18 because I dated someone whose father died (his parents were divorced) when he was fifteen and he was afforded survivor benefits (also his sister for a year at age 17) that definitely helped pay for his college. Any answers (please be positive or just scroll by) would REALLY be appeciated as I really want to know the truth!

Perhaps she doesn't remember. Could have been a drunken one night thing that she's blanked out. Someone she regrets sleeping with to the point they don't even exist in her head anymore. She looked genuinely confused. Remember this was 36 years ago. I struggle to remember a week ago. When you look back on memories, you're remembering the last time you remembered, and when feelings are involved (as she said, she was in love with him), I imagine it's be easy to focus on that for 36 years and have no doubt.

SIGHS ALL AROUND: Case #1 legitimately broke my heart. I'm not a mother but I feel confident saying ALL MOTHERS should be honest with their children. The mother expressed no shock/emotion when the paternity results came back, so she wasn't surprised, but the daughter's look of betrayal stabbed my heart. 😔 Case#2 - Simply put, I knew what TIME it was even without my WATCH! Lil Mama looked favored her aunts & grandmother more than they did! 🤣

The sisters on this show come across as the most emotionally incestuous people I've ever seen in my life. Almost every time a sister appears on PC on her brother's behalf, the amount of animosity they have toward the baby mama is off the charts! Some of them act WORSE than jealous exes.

I thought the baby looked like her daddy’s baby photo, but when they put up the side by side pics of the grandma, there was no doubt that was his child. I would love to see the grandma’s baby pics. I’m happy Ms. Marcellus’ truth was established. She handled herself with grace and in a mature manner. The sisters could learn a lot from her. They both were so disrespectful to her, it was hard to watch. They’re just “mean girls” and I hope that changes for the sake of this precious child. Plus, they’re “Three against one” theory had me in stitches! 😂 DNA don’t lie, no matter how many against the “one.”

Chloe, it's too soon. If you know when you ovulate, you can find out approx after 2 weeks. To have enough hormones to have symptoms takes 6 weeks.

I believe that the reason why she won't say who the father is, is because it's that relative who answer her door when he came looking for miss Wilson at her apartment, and the relative told you him that they don't need him that they good without him. Cuz it shouldn't be no another reason that she keep saying she ain't slept with nobody else if he's not the father she had to sleep with somebody.

The family is arguing with the mother of the child saying all she is interested in his death benefits. I assume the death benefits are social security death benefits which would go to the child. Why does the family care if the mother gets money from the government?? If the social security government death benefits would help the child and take nothing away from them. One true fact, children tell parents what they want to hear so they won't be disappointed in what they are doing.
I have a genuine question.
I live in the UK so our system of social security is different, but are death benefits really that good that it's worth fighting for? I'm talking about the fathers family fighting, not the child (I agree that if a child is entitled to it they should get it regardless), but the way these families fight over money that they can't personally receive, make it sound like the child is receiving thousands of dollars a month.
Social security/death benefits aren't an insane amount a month, but the amount varies; it's based on their earnings, or if they never worked, the survivor can still apply for state benefits.
In high school a friend of mine and her younger brother got her dad's SSI and it was like an allowance for her.
The death "benefit" is only a one time amount and only a couple hundred dollars. They more likely are looking at social security benefits, which can very by how much that parent had paid into it prior to their death. A percentage of tax money from income goes into a social security account. Survivors benefits are a percentage of that. Given it looks like the man died pretty young, unless he made a LOT of money, legally anyway, and paid lots into the ss, the payment wouldn't be much. But as any single mom knows, even something is better than nothing.
I'm in the US. It honestly depends how long the father worked. If he had a pension or land then all of that goes to the child(ren). The family can't claim the social security death benefits and/or pension pay...only the surviving spouse or child(ren). So basically, the child(ren) have all the rights!
He might've passed from unnatural causes, so a health insurance must be it. If he were to pass, a large amount of money would be rewarded to the family. You must also have something similar in the UK, but probably at a smaller scale since the cost of living isn't ridiculously high in comparison.
I know of 3 different recipients, unrelated. They each received around $1,000 a month. Stops at around 18 or 19. Not bad.

How can these people be blind? Almost every other baby's paternity in question is a photocopy of his dad and yet the child is denied and neglected. Wish babies were only born to people who deserve them!

Case #2 Baby girl Mariah looks exactly like her grandmother. The grandmother knew she was just going by what her daughters were putting in her head.
Would be nice to see an update on both of these cases.
Why deny this child for so long.That child looks just like her Aunts and the Grandmother.If they would of just took the time to look in the mirror at themselves.They would of seen themselves in her.Nose,eyes ears and all.
