I think people say yes to the song because it is almost perfection. (Nothing is perfect in life). But this song is very well produced, all the parts are very good or on a god level (specially rap and bridge). Visuals are insane and the MV very cool and easy to watch. I think people may consider all those elements to make a honest review. The song was good no more at first but after some listen i found it kinda perfect in the all the aspects mentionned before. 100% if our guy is wanting choreo and hard hitting music then First has to be top of the list for what might possibly impress him - although La Di Da is my fave. All are bangers though, Everglow really don't miss.

Dude was a STATUE DURING THAT LOL. But hey I understand the gripes with it. I am a fan myself, but I have many criticisms for what Yuehua gave them to work with. And I am also a harsh critic. That being said, if this is the first time you are listening to them that will be your biggest issue. It is a lot easier to dismiss groups when you don't know their track record all that well and you don't know how to put a track into the context of their discography. Most fans immediately feel the nostalgia when the song starts. The sound literally IS..."Everglow". I would say come back to this one after watching their other MVs and you will probably appreciate it more. For all of the shortcomings with this song, they killed it. Like a chef making something gourmet with dollar store ingredients, Everglow cooked up something good even though they didn't have much to work with lyrically or choreographically. The instrumental was good as well, whoever did that did a good job. From beginning to end the beat, energy, and flow was maintained. It makes you want to bop along. And when it comes to K-pop...that is very rare, but they did it. Despite the lower budget and gripes I have with the lyrics and wasted potential; this is now in my top 3 for their discography. It does take a couple of listens for it to hit you just right, but in the end, you will probably realize it is good. This was a good refresher for the fans. It has been a long time since they came back, so money was still being spent that entire time on other things. The lower budget comeback is understandable when you think about it. This one should help set them up to do another "First" level comeback next time. They needed to get their finances up because they don't have "Big 3" kind of money to throw around. (btw, all the gripes we may have with this comeback are things found in some of the top K groups, but their fame shields them from any criticism, and they get away with success regardless of how repetitive or mediocre it all is. YG and JYP are mega guilty of this.)
That is not how that works lol. You don't have to be a dancer to know what good dancing is any more than you have to be an artist to know if a drawing you are looking at is any good or a musician/composer/guitarist/etc. to tell if music you are listening to is good. Choreo is literally meant to impress NON dancers. If it doesn't, you are not doing it right. There is some subjectivity involved in that, but the point is no one should have to be a dancer to comment on choreo. You are missing the point entirely if that is your thought process.
