    1,2,1,2 isnt natural on ch, and i8, but f1,2,1,2 is. (i10)
    also 1,2,1,2 and 1,2,1,4 are both safe, 1,4,3 too
    He has good oki with db2 and df3 (takeroll catch)
    bryan's weakest version is definitely tekken 3, where he doesnt have df4, b1, db2

      All though he has guarentee hit of f,f+2 after guard the running 3 (because of weird system in T3) he does considered as weakest character in T3. TTT1 was okayish

    T3 Bryan has entered the chat:

      at least his snake edge doesn't stagger xD

    • @bigbangbot-SuperSqank
      @bigbangbot-SuperSqank ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It was still easily launch punishable. I don’t know how - it was exactly but considering that Bryan could punish his own Snake Edge with his 19 frame WS1 (yes, it was that slow in T3), it was still quite the liability to throw out.

    • @TheChefDeadManInc
      @TheChefDeadManInc ปีที่แล้ว

      Snake Edge is still just as punishable in T3 (-27 or -28 on block) without the stagger.
      In fact the only real benefits to having a stagger animation are:
      1. Easier for opponent to recognise the stagger animation and punish.
      2. Cannot continue the string anymore on block. This really nerfed Jim/Heihachi hellsweeps and Paul Bone Breaker (d+4,2), which were launch punishable in T3 IF the string wasn’t continued, but doesn’t affect Snake Edge.

      Punish your mom
      I don't understand what this "punish" mean in tekken lol😂
      Also whats this b2 cs ws -2b4
      What the heck is this

      Why don't people talk like that😢

    • @bigbangbot-SuperSqank

      You have found yourself in the high level Tekken sphere. I will try and explain these things as simply as I can.
      . A punish is basically when the opponent attacks you when you can't block. For example, let's say you use a powerful move and that powerful move doesn't hit. It either misses or it is blocked. If the opponent avoids that attack and then attacks you before you can block, that is a punish.
      . Those numbers correspond to each one of your attacks. 1 = Left Punch/Square, 2 = Right Punch/Triangle, 3 = Left Kick/X, 4 = Right Kick/O. The numbers are used by the competitive community as it is simply quicker/easier to say/type than Left Punch, Right Punch and so on. If you see multiple numbers with a + inbetween each number, that means you are pressing multiple buttons at the same time. So for a simple grab, you would press 1+3, which is left punch and left kick at the same time (or Square/X if you prefer).
      . The letters can mean various things. f,b,u,d all mean forward, back up and down respectively. So b2 for example, you press back (which is away from your opponent) and you press the right punch button/triangle. Sometimes you will see these letters in sequence which means you have to press multiple directions. df1 for example means you press down and forward and the left punch/square button.
      ws means "while standing". You can crouch in Tekken and when you let go in crouch, you go into a standing up animation. During this stand up, you have access to a whole new set of attacks. So ws2 means that you let go of crouch after crouching for a bit and then you press the right punch/triangle button to do a "while standing 2" attack.
      Those are the basics. They can be overwhelming to a newcomer and there is a lot more I didn't talk about but if you take time to learn these things (if that was your goal), you can understand them in no time. This channel is primarily aimed towards competitive play and it naturally uses competitive terminology, which can be a bit daunting for a newcomer.

      He has different hit confirmable stuff in this game. Its strings and pokes youre not used to using. If you try to play him like modern bryan youll have a bad time because the character has changed immensely. This bryan is big on poking, and SUPER strong on normal hits, you actually dont want many counter hits as bryan since its usually worse outside a couple moves/strings. This bryan is actually solid. Tekken 3 bryan is easily the worst.

    Nah, the weakest Bryan to date is T3 Bryan. In addition to TTT1 Bryan's issues with linearity and lacking strong lows, his combo damage was crap and he had even worse block punishment (b+1 didn't exist; he couldn't launch faster than i21 from standing, and launching in i21 required doing QCF+1 (his WS+1 from standing) as fast as possible).

    • @davidparry5310
      @davidparry5310 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Anicetogamer9217 Nah, T4 Bryan was definitely stronger than his T3 and TTT1 counterparts. His standing block punishment, while still subpar, wasn't quite as bad as in T3 and TTT1, as his WS+1 was sped up from i19 to i15, which buffed not only his crouching but also his standing block punishment (since you could now do QCF+1 in 17 frames), and his 4,3 became a natural string, making it a legit i12 standing punisher.. He also had high combo damage by T4 standards, disgusting okizeme, and is one of the few characters in T4 with any meaningful horizontal movement, due to his backsway. The shredding of horizontal movement in T4 also made Bryan's canned string mix-ups innately stronger.

    • @TheChefDeadManInc
      @TheChefDeadManInc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep his 3 best moves in TTT1 (b+1 launcher/pressure, f,f+4 evasion, and db+2 combo filler/okizeme) didn’t exist in T3.
      I had to heavily rely on the f,f,f+3 blockstun combo to f,f+2, mixed with the CH f+1,2,1,2 10f jab pressure.

    If you compare most of the cast's TTT1 versions to their T6, TTT2, and T7 versions, they will look incredibly weak. Compare him to the other TTT1 characters, and he's fine. He's either the bottom A-tier character or top B-tier. Half of the cast had much worse problems than what TTT1 Bryan had.

  • @SolidSonicTH

    I feel like tracking attacks this far back weren't a big priority for the devs. Sidestepping as a whole was new so no one was thinking laterally when balancing the game, they were just trying to give players more movement depth in general without a lot of consideration to how the attacks were affected by the z-axis.

    T3 bryan aka the incomplete bryan, TTT1 bryan was placed mid tier, he had decent combo damage but his weaknesses were block punishment, lack of tracking and lack of momentum giving lows like the mishimas had (specifically Jin and Devil), b1 and ws1 were great whiff punishers and bryan had great pokes
