Simple Drawing lesson using a dark graphite pencil.
This crashing wave sketch adds the element of sunlight shining on the glassy water! I think it may help us see how the curved shape would guide the reflected light to the viewers eyes!
Remember the entire surface of the ocean reflects light beautifully out in all directions.

I am primarily a plein air painter creating canvases out in nature. I've used Acrylics as my primary medium for 30 years.

Welcome! I just started drawing, I'm copying from YT here 😆🤭 stopping the videos. I'm very happy that I found your channel, but I'm very sorry that I don't understand what you're saying, I don't speak English 😓 but it's still a big help, I'm staring at my eyes 😆 For now, of course, I'm only making graphite drawings, but I like these waves so much as a theme , I might feel like painting them.
