I play from time to time and I love it. To be honest, I don't understand the words about the game being dead. Maybe there is less online than I would like, but I never had moments that I went to the server, and I have AI players. What is your opinion on this?
I have the same CPU and GPU, I was running my 4090 on driver 524 (because of stability issues with newer drivers) until the new Battlefield update yesterday which made me update my driver to play the game and the game crashs on loading screen saying not enough DRX memory, Have you had any problems?
Here's the kicker - The GPU makes no difference as BF 2042 is a CPU hogging beast! They are well aware that the game is not utilising the GPU properly, but have still not fixed it.

sorry to say this but ive had them too and its just the game. why do u think its unpopular? they have yet to address this 2 years later.

too bad that the game is dead and it has a terrible player base who don't play objectives. Game had a lot of potential.
