Hooking up my travel rig (for ACID recordings)

Quick video on how i set up my typical recording rig while away, while not in my home studio. Because of reasons i do this almost monthly so it's become a solid routine in the past 7 or so years and i've recorded almost all my released work like this. Basicly it's nothing more (or less) than roughly choosing the gear, packing it up, hauling it around and setting them up, hook up the cables (power, MIDI / sync, audio) and that's it. Most time consuming part is dialing in my sound (or "tone" like guitar people would describe it) each time to match my vision and so that it sounds half-decent to me and you and everyone else. This is sometimes problematic when switching between pieces of gear, as they certainly don't sound or react the same and therefore you can't rely on settings, adjustments and routings from previous session. You do however eventually get a pretty good general idea what roughly works thru what, why and how. Different combos of gear keep things interesting for myself - to put it simple - which is why i am prepared to go thru all this trouble time and time again. Admittedly, when you've done this routine x-amount of times for years it gets boring, but since leaving the rig sitting there untouched isn't an option, as i also need my gear elsewhere too, this is how i roll for now.
