Hey guys!
I believe this is my first Twilight Princess cover??? I can't believe it took me this long to hit up this amazing Zelda game.
Huge thanks to my good friend and VGM badass FamilyJules for jamming on this song with me! We both arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered it from the ground up out here in San Diego. This was the first time I've made a cover for my channel that wasn't in my home studio!
The arrangement we went for was to start it off as a super chill acoustic vibe with Jules playing his Ocarina on top of his awesome classical guitar playing. Then it ultimately blows up into some sick melodic metal riffage! We did a ton of layering with the guitar tracks to attempt to make it sound as big as we could and I personally think we achieved that. Jules is always so sick with his wall of sound lead guitar approach and you can really hear it on this arrangement!
I believe that this is one of the best covers I've ever done thanks to Jules' help. We seriously killed it on this and I'm super proud of it. Thank you Glen for the awesome request and thank you guys for watching! I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it! This mix is made *just that much more incredible* by the addition of FamilyJules on acoustic guitar and ocarina! (Aside from the already excellent dueling electric guitars between the two of you.) Great job on this cover! It's the best Zelda tune I never knew I wanted to hear in this style. :D

Honestly, I would prefer your music versions in place of the original game tracks they're made from. Any chance you'll go back to N64 classics again? A specific track favorite of mine is "Ghost Toys Castle" From Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. Your tracks are definitely a blast from the past!

Great video Jack! You guys killed it. How do you get your guitar sound, do you mic up an amp? Cause I know Jules uses the Axe FX, I was wondering what you do.
Thanks Mohmega! For this one I used Jules' Axe Fx and we did a patch that works for the tones I usually go for. At home I like to use BIAS as well as my Hughes and Kettner amp both going direct in.
