Racing around on a rocket, trying to score goals, smash your rivals and win races? Sounds like something much more modern, but this came out in 1996!
Pick a character, a mode (football, fighting or, as shown here, racing) then go for it! Here, in the racing mode, you follow the map for the next gate or tower to pass. Either drive through the gates or snag them with a cable. Yep, this is a cable-racing game too. Connect with a cable then you can turn much more quickly.
You can also knock off other rivals and steal their rocket craft, and there's many upgrades, bonuses and other things to find along the way.
Here I just try the first two starter events, passing the first one and... failing miserably at the second! It's a hard game, you have to get used to the handling, and cabling, to do well with this one!
Finally, the music is worth a shout, using Dick Dale's crazy surf-rock guitar tunes to keep things rattling along.
