    To maintain a clean oven I spray it w my homemade all purpose cleaner (vinegar, dish soap , lemon e/o &’water) after each use and wipe down - the glass door is always shiny! A clean oven door makes my kitchen feel super clean!

    I don't know what regulations are in Canada or Australia but, I hear in the US there is no requirement to list if sugar is added to the honey and things like that. We get "cheap" organic raw honey from Costco at times but if I'm using it like medicine I will get from a local apiary I trust.
    Love the content! Just a tip if anyone cares ❤️

    I have also recently started using cast iron. It made me CRAZY how food used to stick to it, but after seasoning it maybe 3 or 4 times, it is now nonstick, and I love it!!!

    • @tiad.9142
      @tiad.9142 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can you just heat the oil up in the pan several times (like once a day for 3 days) to make it nonstick or do you have to cook, scrub it then heat the oil up? I’ve heard that the grease from the food helps to make it nonstick? Mine sticks horribly also but people make freaking pancakes in theirs so I know I’m missing something🥲

    • @kendrascorner
      @kendrascorner ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@tiad.9142 I don't think just cooking with it is enough. I tried and it failed. Lol! That being said, you don't have to cook with it first! If it's clean just coat it in canola oil (very thin layer, wipe everything off with a paper towel) and then turn your oven to the hottest setting for about an hour. I let it set in the oven (with the oven off) the rest of the day, and next morning, coat it with oil and do it again. I did it every day or couple of days for about a week without cooking on it inbetween. It now is mostly nonstick, and after cooking I sometimes (but not always) season it the next day just to maintain it. If you put too thick a layer of oil it won't harden, it will just get sticky, so don't think more is better in this case! just a nice thin layer over the whole pan!
