At last, someone's filmed Flamborough village. It's a place I have holidayed near and visited many times. The South Landing nature trail is a hidden gem. My parents and I try to go there at least once per year.

Apart from the traffic the village hasn't changed that much in 60 years. I think Longdon's was an antique shop or expensive trinket shop back in the 70s, but i could be wrong. The bulls eye glass windows fasinated me as a kid.

Flamborough RHQ, Coastguard Station, situated on Brail Neuk when I had the privilege of staying at the Head back in 1974. The video brings back loads of great memories. Thank you.

Well, that made my day. I have been doing a lot of family research as my family are from North Yorkshire and one relative in particular has really interested me and she lived in Flamborough and is buried at St. Oswalds. So thank you for the church walk through! 😊

Just got back from a shirt break on the Yorkshire coast. We went to Flamborough head which was amazing. Wish we had stopped at the village too now, maybe next time. Thanks for the tour and shots of the amazing cliffs!

Thank you for filming this. Especially the walk through St Oswalds Church grounds. My grandparents lived in Flamborough and I spent many happy days and weeks visiting over the years. I still go when I can to put some flowers down for them in the church yard. A beautiful village for sure. If you ever go back, you should go to South Landing too.

Great to see someone filming flamborough. My mate owns one of those terraced houses on post office street, the 5th one on the right just as you began walking on the street. I've had some fantastic holidays in that little fisherman's cottage. Love this place ❤️ 💕

Lovely walk. I have just had a hip replacement so can’t walk very well at the moment and so I am imagining it’s me doing the walking! However I visited Flamborough Head a short
    while ago.

I really enjoy the videos like this that are off the beaten track. These small village tours are more interesting than pebble beaches. There again Flamborough could have a pebble beach.

Its a killer going down those steps into the bay but much worse coming back up admittedly its a lovely bay but i prefer North landing easier access and reminds me of the med if the weather is right ,the other lighthouse is the chalk tower further back but i dont know if it was ever used ,then the building on the cliff tops i think is the fog horn it could be heard in Bridlington back in the day ,cant recall how many times ive actually been up the lighthouse to look at the massive bulb but i think it has been changed now so it only lights up rather than sweep over the bay .

Being from the West Ridding we spent a lot of time on the East coast we once stayed in a bungalow called the Cuddie my Grandfather came with us I was twelve I swam across the North Landing 5 times my grandfather was so impressed you would think I was a channel swimmer it was only 3 foot deep he was a small man and he had won the MM and Bar in WW 1 , I was so proud of my Grandad that was sixty years ago

Lived in Bridlington for a while and often walked the coast path up there. There is a second Lighthouse there but I believe there’s no record of it been used properly because of its age.

More memories of my childhood scrambling around on the rocks of North and South Landings. I was surprised at how dark (seaweed presumably) the rocks now look as they were mainly chalk white then. Is this yet another indication of global warming causing more rapid growth of the weed ? Oh, what has man done to this wonderful Earth !!

The blue building has been used for different businesses, from a hairdresses to cafes, it will, if all goes to plan become a permanent home, not a holiday let I must add. My home.
