Hi Merrill , the oval was not always an oval. At one time it was part of a ceiling lamp.

Your ring is actually a plumbing part called a compression seal. It is used at sinks and toilets to connect the supply tube to a shut off valve. They are under a threaded nut and compresses onto the flexible tube. They can only be used 1 time! Usually copper!
Your key was actually one used to open a sardine can or coffee can (old timer, before the foil sealed tops).

The lead thing that looks like a shower head is a floral frog. It would have had wire pins sticking out each of the holes. Yoh would put the frog in some water then you would use it to arrange flowers by poking the stems onto the pins. The piece that could be a button but had lots of holes in it was from a woman's beaded button or ear ring. The maker would wrap wire thru each hole then a head then back thru a hole until they had their piece finished. Usually looked like flowers when finished.

Congrats on the rings, marbles and all the best finds!
The plate is an RCA Victrola ID plate & the animal is Nipper the dog.
Some of the smaller buckles look like bathing cap or girdle buckles.
The most unusual thing to me is the gold compact. It's stamped "The House of Westmore; Hollywood CA". The Westmores are a family of make up artists from early 20th century to present. In the 40s-50s they opened their own salon, The House of Westmore.
Fascinating family...Pam Westmore is usually listed as Sandra Bullock's make up artists & is the host of the make up competition show Face Off. Michael Westmore, Pam's father & resident mentor on the show, wrote/published a book in 70s, " The Westmores of Hollywood " detailing their family's history in make up in Hollywood.
Google them and the salon for more info. Awesome! 🎉👍

Merrill... I'm so happy you recovered some of the marbles you lost in your life! To screw an oval... go to the oval screw shop... get the special oval screwing tool and work away - simple!

Bottle at 16:00 is an alcohol bottle. That legal mumbo jumbo was for alcohol tax purposes. The oI diamond symbol is for Owens Illinois glass company. Made at plant #54 in 1942. The diamond in the logo was dropped in 1955. Single digit year codes were first 0,1,2,3...9 for 1930 to 39. A dot after the number is 10 years. Ie 0. is 1940, 1. is 1941. What year they stopped using the dots and just used two digits I'm not sure. At least by 1942 given your find. Have an overnight mud lark in a few weeks.
