Great vid again i worked at Farina station as a sparky n the very early 2000,s putting in a new solar power system for the station home stead and walked around the old town in the early mornings well before the restoration started and the bakery food is great.
That part of SA is one I am very familiar with as my mother's side of the family have significant connections to Peterborough. I've spent quite a bit of time exploring that area. During the late 1980s I would also head up to Canegrass Station for a week or so each year and we stayed in the old shearers' quarters. If any of us got up during the night to answer the call of nature we would have to throw more wood on the fire under the donkey boiler, otherwise it was cold showers in the morning! It's great to see that part of the world through your eyes and what you think of the area. Enjoy being back on the road, and we'll enjoy following along as you go. Save travels, A&J
Thank you again, sounds like you have certainly seen some places. I wish we had lit the boiler but was way to windy. Stay safe and enjoy your freedoms maybe head over to bush rangers bay near cape shank for a nice day walk to change seems till you can get out into regional. 😊
We were at Beltana when you guy's went by in that storm . 12mm of rain and the creeks flowed that night. It hailed poured rain and blew a gale. It was magic to see the Flinders wet. Great video as usual guys love watching them.
@@nowhereboundtouring. We headed up to Marree 2 days later after that storm and did some exploring along the Birdsville and Oodnadatta tracks and surrounding areas and are now down near Kimba. Hope you guys are travelling well and keeping safe.
We were up at Farina on the June long weekend and can attest to the yummyness of the stuff they make at the bakery. It is actually open for about 3 months of the year and is staffed by volunteers form all over the country. There is a waiting list to join the volunteers and the usual time is only one week apparently.
Hi ya guys. One thing that spoils the Murray for me is the noise from the speed/ski boats (I'm sure not the case for those with the noisy speed/ski boats though). Can't wait for EB's (Electric Boats). I can tell you that camel sausage was not what you (fleetingly) thought it was Katy! "Sprits that go by the name of Jim" - classic.
Great to see you guys back on the road 😀 Have you considered lacing a few map images pinning where you are. Or one at the start of the path to be travelled in the ep. We are often googling 'oooh, where is that spot during the vids'. Just an idea, but loving the watch as always 😀
Super, beautiful historical view. I saw some German names on the list of names of those killed in both cursed wars. I hope the grand old lord was gracious to all the favours and took their poor souls to himself. So wanting to go hiking at 6am is a midnight walk and quite honestly, animals, plants and decent people, should not be mistreated. Nice video, I like it. Greetings from Frankfurt, take care and stay healthy.
Hi Gerald, Thanks for watching and the greeting. You do know the best time for a walk is early, early morning. Katty is not to sure though. Cheers, karl
What a great adventure. Loved the photography at the beginning. Thank you. Ps how do you do the camera thing to make us think someone is filming behind you while walking?
Very interesting, appreciated you're early morning devotion to creativity. Expected to see some snow with the weather changes. Thank you for sharing another amazing place.
Did the Flinders on my Adventure bike in July.......perfect weather until the last day, I rode 6 hours in weather like you got, you reckon it was bad in a truck, it seriously sucked on a motorbike.
@@nowhereboundtouring I actually followed you guys through Mildura when I was on my way back to Vic. Freedom is over, some of still have to work LOL Enjoy your travels
Hi Carl. Can you tell me what jockey wheel you're using please. Looks like an electric one to me. I'm hoping it is and you could give me your experiences and feedback please. I've hit a dodgy as back and putting my dual clamp jockey wheel on and off is giving me grief. Thanks mate. Love the posts you guys do. Cheers. Tony
Hi Tony, we do have an electric leg and we like it. It is a American made Bulldog brand available in Australia not to expensive, after sales service is non existent in Oz. If you haven’t seen our hitch video it is featured in that. Thanks for watching and look after that back Cheers Katty
I love your content, I don't like your reading. It just sounds so forced and fake. Try using bullet points and just do a natural ramble. Carls cut..... 🤣
thank you for the other great detailed video
