I think you meant WASN'T. I agree! The cadence, fluctuations etc are all wrong. Goes to show that having a nice voice and being able to do a variety of voices, just isn't enough.

I am grateful to have this to listen to. And this is going to sound ungrateful. The narration leaves something to be desired. It makes me wonder if it's AI.
I have heard better AI, they are seriously improving them. This is an actual person, Senn Annis, she has a nice voice but her cadence and reading style suck. They are uncomfortable to listen to.

The narrator has a nice voice, but is all wrong for narrating. She could be trained but she exaggerates the last word in almost every sentence, the intonation and cadence are off most if not all the time. I think practice would help. It does make listening rough.
