2 ways of applying for research internships:- 1) You can apply for SRFP (summer research fellowship programmes) like IAS (Indian Academy of Sciences) SRFP , JNCASR SRFP, TIFR VSRP and SRFP's at various IISER's. The application process usually starts in the month of Jan or Feb every year and you will get the details on their respective website. You should keep checking the website for updates. 2) You can directly mail a professor or scientist working on a particular research topic that you're also interested in. You must send your CV along with a cover letter that shows how interested you're to work in his/her lab. This is a trial and error process where you may or may not get a reply but nevertheless keep trying! All the best!
@@anuraagnallan2939 Thank u sir 😇, but is it compulsory to do that because many candidates apply for it and everyone don't get a chance, so is it compulsory to do this to get admission in isser, iisc banglore
@@biologybyheart7587 It's not mandatory to have a research internship experience for getting selected but doing one definitely helps you to get an edge over the other applicants. Moreover if you're interested in research, I would suggest that you undergo atleast one research internship/project/training as an undergrad.
