Great reaction Seph Thank you! When this was N0.1 and on 'Top of the pops' TV programme I was round Lisa Kemp's house. She was a friend from the past and she had a friend already there, we were all singing along and it was my last memory of my friend Lisa until about 10 years ago. I was in a pub with 2 male friends and she approached me proclaiming in front of both my friends that I was such a lovely person and she had such lovely and wonderful memories of me! She even took my arms ... unfortunately I haven't seen her since but I still Love my friend Lisa Kemp AND it's all because of this song!🥰😍
@@SephPlays It was amazing in person as I saw this as well. Actually I saw this very performance that they recorded this film/video for. I've been lucky enough to see tons of amazing performances/concerts from the early 80s up through today - DEPECHE MODE, THE CURE, U2, JOY DIVISION/NEW ORDER, ERASURE, BOWIE, MJ, PRINCE, MADONNA, and on and on - and this tour of THE PET SHOP BOYS was the single most amazing production I've seen. It was literally like watching a Broadway musical stage play featuring all of their songs being played live while telling an entire story - each song leading into the other with an entire cast acting and performing with set changes and everything. Spectacular. And Neil who always sounds fantastic live was at the top of his game.
Your facial expressions and nervous laughter are priceless! (2:21) "This is a sin watching this, I think. Can I wash my eyes out with holy water or something!" 😅 (1:09) "For everything I long to do. No matter when or where or who..." This is no doubt a reference to Neil's homosexuality and being told it's a sin while he was attending an all-boys' Catholic school. This one sounds like there's more elements of the song being performed live, including synth parts and backing vocals. My high school synth pop band, Vital Red, played this song. It was a lot of fun. I remember playing that lead melodic line that you mimed at the beginning. When Neil sings, "Father you fought me," I always thought it sounded like he was singing a profane word that starts with an "f" in place of "fought". It's possible Neil meant it to be heard and interpreted with a dual meaning.
Wow! That was...something else 😳, thank you for sharing this Seph 🙏 🙌 ❤️ 👏 ♥️ 💕 and BTW if you think you're family is watching this (don't know how old they are) well [next time] you can put some restrictions on there like 18+(🔞)?... well that's all for now 😀... thank you and have a nice day 😊 😀 👍.
Sí es tu canción favorita de ellos ve la versión Live in Rio, vas a flipar. Y a mí me encanta tu cara flipando así que verlo 🤗🤗😘😘 de hecho el concierto entero Live in Rio es bestial
Love them and this song! Used to listen to this album and play my Sega Genesis for hours! Would also play Depeche Mode and play games too! To this day I get hit by memories when hearing these songs!
Seph, can I put a request in for New Year's Eve ? Belinda Carlisle - New Year's Eve 1987 - Part 2 (Part 1 is no longer on TH-cam for some reason). She sings live and sounds amazing, really close to the studio version. There is another video still on TH-cam from that performance including her biggest hit 'Heaven Is A Place On Earth' but the picture quality is a bit grainy. She is one of my favourite female singers of all time and was absolutely beautiful, in her prime, at this time.
@RITWINS I expect as she's one of your favourites you've got Belinda's autograph? I have a cheque from Belinda Carlisle Mason Household account in Los Angeles that she not only signed of course but dated and filled in the amount as $81.39! It was cashed through the bank of California in Beverly Hills.🥰
"What is she doing to that vampire?" Oh come on now ol' boy. You know what she was doing 😆 Real life story: I once saw a man with a full back piece (tattoo that takes up the whole back) depicting the devil getting a bj from a lady in a graveyard. It was done with black ink. It was actually really well done. The shading and shadow work was actually impressive. I should add that I saw this on one of those real life prison shows on tv. But anyway that's what this + your comments brought to my mind 😂 "My family watches this!" Well just tell them that it's for adults only :D My sister would be all, "What the eff are you watching?" So I get it Seph 😉 What shall I call *this* reaction? Hilarious? "Mind" blowing ( * wink wink nudge nudge *)... Well it certainly is something Seph 💣 At least you left Kingsley out of this one ;) Hope you have a sinfully good Thursday Seph 🫠
Made me laugh a little more then i should have reading this! so bloody funny. WOW but seriously on that tattoo though, Can you imagine what kind of a person you would have to be to be happy with art such as that on your back!? xD
Oh, Sammy. Now I wanna see that tattoo! And might I add, I love those prison reality shows. Some of those dudes... Let's just say I have fantasies about being their cell mate.
@@SephPlays Right? From an artistic perspective whoever did that for him was obviously amazingly talented. But I will also we all have a dark side. And with that dark side comes a little of the darker side of humor. Like on my way to work there's a gentleman's club and because of the holiday season their sign is now advertising "Festive Ladies". Anyways my sister and I were making jokes about it the next day and well she comes out with, "I'm Crampas." A lady in a devil Santa get up and a three pack a day raspy voice. It made scream laugh out loud. Because to me that was hilarious. You know it's okay to indulge in a little dark humor.

Love this. Glad I got to see this tour.
Lucky! I would have loved to have seen this in person!

@@paulhuggett7503 Nice. I don't really have any pop memorabilia but I think she's great, made so many good songs.
@@RITWINS I agree Great songs and a Great singer! I keep my 'Belinda cheque' in the plastic sleeve that encases my copy of her album Heaven On Earth.😀
