Marcus Luttrell and the man who saved his life are no longer friends... because after the movie, the man who saved his life said that's not what happened at all, even some command in the Marines said the story was not accurate.

And you can’t really compare the GBs to the SEALs - both of their primary missions are entirely different. A more fitting comparison would be the Deltas to the SEALs - both quick strike operators and both with a fairly popular reputation in Hollywood. PJs are probably next in line for the next military “Hollywood craze”.

PS also the US Army has two classifications of Ranger. 75th Rangers are SpecOps soldiers and Ranger Qualified soldiers earned a RANGER tab through an intense Ranger school course the army offers. Normally all 75th Rangers go to the Ranger school course and have both scroll and tab, but other units from any branch can come try to earn that tab for Ranger school
No unit is entirely better than any other, they all have a purpose. BTW did you know that most 'Operators' are actually recruited from Ranger Bn? People say that they are the best.... The reason for the ranger comments is because of the company ranger up. Its funny to me because I actually served with both of them.
