I'm psyched to hear that Huber is still in the rotation for hosting TT. It seemed like he really came into his own on the episode with Rogersbase so it would be a shame not to have him do it again.
When you guys were talking about people saying Ben was talking about Rebirth too much but also wanting you guys to touch back on games you’re still playing I think the difference is that there is an ongoing Deepest Dive so you could get Rebirth discussions elsewhere if you wanted them. Also I think the annoying thing from my perspective was that it was the same discussion each week. Someone critiquing the game in the same way they did the previous week and Ben trying to convince them they were wrong. I know he was just offering his opinion and explaining why it worked for him but it started to rub me the wrong way after awhile because I just found myself saying “I get it, move on” If it’s a new discussion about the game I’d love it but just rehashing gets boring week after week.
Completely disagree. If someone is continuing to play a game, I want to hear their thoughts (different than the deepest dive). The fact that they are playing it is obviously for a reason. It’s also nice to hear some pushback on opinions on a game, instead of one person talking and then moving on.
Haley is a star.... she's so entrancing to listen to, and makes me remember the joy of gaming. And next to Ben, that's saying something.
That trivia at the end was tooo fun
