The new Destiny Hero support from the new Zillion Thunder mainbox wasn't much, but it was just enough to make the deck playable again and that's a good thing considering, like you said, Destiny Heroes haven't been a relevant deck since 2018, basically five years ago. I am all for Destiny Heroes getting more support because that deck keeps getting shadowed out by Jaden's Elemental Hero deck. Aster Phoenix deserves some more love and support so I am glad his deck is actually at least mid tier rogue with this new wave of Destiny Hero support. Amazing video as always Loom! Your content always puts a smile on my face and I always have a lot of fun trying out your decklists while also having great success climbing the ranked ladder. I think the reason so many people don't sub has got to do with Looms elitist attitude (I'm definitely guilty of the same thing from about 12 years ago myself so i can see it more clearly) been playing yugioh for over 20 years now myself and keep finding more reasons to love the game over time.
I love the entire HERO archetype in general but yes, the lack of Destiny HERO viability in Duel Links was troublesome for such a long time. Even the character skills could only do so much.
i wish they would've had using this skill change aster to his arc v look bc I really liked his outfit from that show, still happy that almost all the cards from the old legendary hero decks are here bc those were some of the first tcg cards I ever got
How do yo get the destiny effect skill with aster? For some reason it does not appear in my permanent missions but I do not have the skill unlocked, so I don’t know the unlock requirements :(
Well Destiny HERO reclaim some of their former luster as something other than that RNG mask change upset nonsense that shows up when you're about to rank up with a combo deck or weaker aggro and get out combo'd and aggro'd 'mysteriously' on a nin game win streak.
This deck gets farmed by speedroids and pendulums don't get baited by DLM scam showing decklist that didn't even duel a single tier 1/2 deck as "spicy decks" the only spice shit is the drugs the guy took for wasting 10k gems to lose to the most played deck in the ladder aka speedcringe and pendulum

it migth be a bit late but just in case, you have to win with Aster 3 times, only using warrior monsters.

Nah this was a missed opportunity to run chalice to combo wit Anki. And bc dystopia burns for like 800, that combo would be leathal.
I tried it, very clean turn 2. Lackluster turn 1 bcs best play only dystopia.
