Its easy to erase the second or third printing mark on the newsprint inside.

All mine are first print. Issues 1 - 66. Then they started getting weird. I got them each when they first came out.

I have g I Joe a real American hero #2 and #7 with bar codes " not crossed out" both are 1982. How can I find out the value of these?

As far as I know Murf it is only for G.I. Joe. It has something to do with Marvel's stock code. I'm not 100 percent, but I've never seen anything otherwise.

Most of mine I got at the store as they came out or in the mail with a subscription. 21 though I got in a three pack so might be a 2nd printing. But I didn't pay the prices collectors today do, so I don't care.

+Amazing Murfinator1028 That five digit number is the Curtis Code Number or CC Number. Curtis was the name of the company that distributed Marvel's books on the newsstand so they would have Marvel put an indentifying number on each comic. So each Marvel series has it's own unique number. The Curtis logo is often next to the number. It's that weird CC inside another C or inside a world map and is so tiny that it's hard to make out. You'll only find that CC number on newsstand copies and not the direct edition ones.
