    I never thought about using a rock for a fairy house. I guess you can use about anything to create a fairy house. This gives me something else I can make. Thanks so much for sharing your video. I am learning so much.

    That is interesting. The chimney looked a little too big for the size of the house, but that is my art school coming out. Looks fine though. Very cute

      I agree about the chimney - but that was done on purpose to compensate for the moss that was going on the roof. :-) Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching! - Jacob

      Okay, no problem; it just looked a little funny initially but better with the addition of the moss. I am looking for ideas to use in my own fairy garden right now. Much of what I see is so expensive and those are the little shovels and stuff. I want to do this with resources I have on hand...at least for the rest of my village. I have large stones that were collected in Michigan around the lighthouses...have you ever done a lighthouse?

    • @TheJakefolger
      @TheJakefolger  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That should be fun to make your own fairy garden. I have not made a light house yet. I do have ideas about how to make a shovel and garden tools though. I can give you some ideas and we can carry on this discussion by email. You can find my email address on the "about" section on my channel page.

      Thanks, that would be great. I was thinking of using the polymer clay to form the garden equipment and using a small, stiff wire for the handles. What do you think? The ones I found in the store, the handles are too long and are slightly out of proportion to the house. It is frustrating to find everything in the right size and expensive!
