- When the mountains called, we could not help but answer! But this time, our agenda was different.
What is it that keeps calling us back? Is it a divine voice? A higher power? Varun Painter got on the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure and headed to Zanskar. He documented his beautiful journey for all of us to live through his days where he rode into the sunset!

@@nishik810 no worries about seat height. Lower seat height kit is there from zedling suspension. You just have to install it.

@@vroombk Oh No! The comment that moved me was when you said that these roads will be replaced by smooth tarmac and apparently you're among the last people to witness it in it's full glory. I realised that and it really made me sad, that we're replacing the very essence of some places with the things that are inappropriate. Thus the people visiting those places would cause Massive Uproar and eventually littering and ruining the very soul of these divinely tranquil places. 390 is a tested machine.. it has done Zanskar with a pillion on its back and 2 people's luggage .. .. time to see how a powerdrift rider tackles Zanskar with only a sleeping bag rolled on the back of his duke 390.

I wanted to ask you which tail bag did you use, Is it Kriega? And was it comfortable while saddling or you have some other suggestions which won't interfere much during saddling, perhaps a saddle bag (not a big fan of them to be honest)?

A gem of a machine this bike is. I Did the Manali-Shinkula-Padum-Lingshed-Leh-Manali with pillion and luggage for 2 and the camping equipment last year. It went through harshest of climbs easily where other bikes refused to climb up and were forced to return via Rangdum-PensiLa route.
The Lingshed road is treacherous
KTM 390 Adventure and Zanskar Valley..I truly enjoyed every KM I covered..

Ride quality can be softer yes, bottom end torque can be strong yes! adjustable front suspension will add cost .

I was about to buy an ADV 390 in a week or so, Now after watching a few videos on YT talking about KTM' launches (Adventure-R and Enduro) launching in about six months. I'm really confused about whether to buy it now or wait for the new releases.
Are these really going to come within the next 6 months to India ? Because I can't wait for more than 6 months ☺️
