Anthony you are doing a wonderful job. I'm just waiting to save up enough $ to get in the game myself. Keep up the great work. I love the company I work for but I do want to build my own brand as well.
Long explanation of a similar experience I had. And sorry you had to experience those ignorant people. Good advice at the end, another good video. I obviously can’t speak on your experience, but as a white man, I can relate. Believe it or not, we experience the same reactions when we go into a mostly minority area. In the mid to late 80’s, as a kid, we lived in Cleveland Ohio, the only white family for a couple blocks. We were attacked, shot at, chased, and our lives threatened cause they didn’t want white people on their block. I remember going to the laundry mat one day, my mom had to pick me up and run to the laundry mat, the owner looked after us while we were there, put a pad lock on our washer and dryer, then after laundry was done, she had to carry me and the basket and run home cause we were chased and threatened. My dad had a shootout with two young men cause they were trying to kill us cause we were white. And one older black man tried to abduct me while I was riding a tricycle with the neighbor kids, my dad chased him into an open part of the project apartments empty yard, and beat him till the cops came. The guy told the cops he was going to take me cause I was white. Then in 2004-2006, I worked in Newburgh NY, bad area near broadway, had one gang at one end of the street, a different gang at the other end, Latin Kings at the lower end, and the Haitian gangs at the upper end walking around with machetes, four way area. I worked right in the middle at a vitamin factory. I had to leave before it got dark cause otherwise I wouldn’t make it out. It wasn’t the O’ G’s that was the problem, we had a mutual respect, we were there to work and make money the same as them, in a different manner of course, we minded our business they left us alone. It was the young bucks that we had to watch out for after 3pm when they got out of school, they thought they had something to prove, so they were the ones who would try to attack us. The Older G’s actually walked us to our cars if we had to stay late so that we wouldn’t get shot. Thank you to them. I was at the Corner store getting a soda, when I went to pay, the cashier just told me to take the drink and run, I was like why? He pointed to his security camera behind him, there was about 4-5 dudes starting to surround me from behind with their fist clenched, I took off out the store, they chased me all the way back to my job yelling every racist slur you can call a white man, and threatening to kill me, beat my head into the pavement, yelling at me to get out of their hood cause I don’t belong there. I had a couple more incidents where it was more one on one, and I stood my own. Racism is experienced in every race now a days, but like you said, learn to articulate, keep calm, keep ya head up, definitely don’t back down, and keep moving forward. There are definitely some ignorant people in every race, that will try to test you, just remember who you are, and don’t lose sight of your goals. Be safe out there.
As a Black man driving otr there are a number of places that let you know that your not welcome smh... do your job keep it professional and keep it moving don't let these people get you off your purpose 💯
As a black woman on the road, I definitely carry a handgun everywhere I go because of situations you spoke on. Definitely look into carrying a handgun. Just review the states that you’re traveling to, gun laws. Some adopt other bordering states gun laws. But regardless, I would rather carry a handgun and be safe and be able to protect myself in worst case scenario and ask judge for forgiveness later. Just carry the handgun in a case while traveling. Be safe out there! -Kai
Dude, I don't think it had anything to do with you personally. I'm as white as snow and some people treat me the same way. Some people have clicks and if we're not in it they treat others like shit. Keep your head high and karma with catch up to them.
I know this is an older video, but I'm just now watching it. I want to address the last part as a white man from a small town. I can genuinely say that alot of the ignorace you perceive isn't hate. People that don't see black people very often only see yall on the news and social media where yall aren't always portrayed in the best light. Many people just don't know how to carry themselves around you guys because they don't want to offend you or make you feel ostrasised.
When I see trucks or cars speed pass me in bad weather and a few miles down the road I see them in a ditch I laugh. It’s not unfortunate. They just being stupid in bad weather and that’s what they get.
I'm glad you stayed safe out there bro! You being from Michigan too already know how we move in the snow 😆. I'm gonna keep rockin' with you always. Thanks again for always keeping us abreast about what's going on in the industry keeping us aware by giving us a heads up. Racism still exist unfortunately!! Facts😎👊🏾💯. Video is fire bro🔥🔥🔥. Yes you've giving us A LOT of entertainment. Lol. Keep grinding as always my brotha 🤑🤑🤑

Every race has some racist people. People are ignorant if they think only white people can be racist.
